Oahu Bakes & Brew (Oahu Cakes)

I ordered from this bakery for my sister's surprise birthday party, which I said was on Thursday night. We agreed on the order and the price. Originally the owner discussed having it ready by 1 PM on Thursday if that worked, and then I asked if picking up Thursday morning would work (or Wednesday if possible). They confirmed that Thursday morning would work and they'd be open starting at 10:00. I showed up at 11:00 after work and waited for 40 minutes - calling and texting to see if I was in the wrong place or attempting to get any answer on when I should be back to pick it up before that night. I received a text back 2 hours later saying that they were only at the bakery for 30 minutes today (until 10:30), and that since I did not confirm (again) that Thursday morning worked, they did not contact me at all.

Really disappointing and inconsiderate customer service - I am honestly at a loss. I am now figuring something out last-minute for my sister's surprise party to try and make up for what I ordered.

The previous owner was impeccable with her art. She had serious attention to detail and you could tell she put a lot of effort into designs. I was a little disappointed with my previous order. The art was off and it seemed lazy. As I was picking it up, stuff kept falling off the cake. The cake was a bit dry as well. Hope it was just a bad weekend. I believe sometimes life happens so I'll give it one more shot before I move on.

AMAZING EXPERIENCE! The cake made my sisters intimate wedding so extremely special. I could not have dreamed of a better cake!!!! The cake was so so so so cute (as seen in photo) and was delicious. I asked for two groots to have be the “bride and groom” and they were able to find two different groots that fit SO WELL.

I ordered a cake for my mom’s birthday today and it was amazing! It looked better than the inspo pics I shared and tasted just as amazing. Great to work with and extremely communicative. Will be ordering again when I come back! Highly recommend!

I haven’t tried the cakes here, but the cupcakes are to die for. There is seriously no reason why I was having two a day when the storefront was open. I wish it wasn’t just preorder, but I understand how busy she can be!

I paid 110 dollars for a smash cake for my baby’s 1st Birthday and ordered an exact replica of a cake they already did, so I figured it wasn’t anything complicated since they already designed and made the cake for another customer. On delivery day, I was told delivery would be between 11-2 and that really surprised me. We ended up not being able to go to a beach on our last vacation day because we had no choice but to wait around for the cake. They said Aulani the Disney Resort had Covid restrictions and they could not bring the cake inside, but we saw other cakes coming in and we also had flowers delivered. Bell services also held groceries we came with. So we lost a whole day almost of beach time just waiting around for the cake. I can see one hour, but three is ridiculous. I had to sit around the pool checking my phone every 10 minutes for three hours. After almost three hours passed and I didn’t hear, I finally had to reach out to them. At 1:45 I messaged them wondering about the cake and they said they were just about to contact me. The cake arrived at 2:10 and it was not the cake I even ordered. The colors were dull, it had a big brown plaque with hard to see wording. It looked nothing like the cake I thought was coming. They also did not put the special lilikoi filling in it like I ordered. It was a basic vanilla cake. All that waiting and then the huge disappointment. There was a plastic tree on the cake and images printed which is not what I wanted at all. Had I known I would have just bought the cute little Moana cupcake for 15 bucks at the resort and called it a day. My kids missed snorkeling because their wait time was mid day and way too long. By the time the cake got there which was past the three hours they said it was almost too late to venture out. By the time we went anywhere the sun would be going down. It was a bad experience and obviously will not be ordering again. Cake on the left is what I ordered that they made themselves. Cake on the right is what we got after waiting far too long for. Overall the cake was lifeless and boring for a baby girl. It also didn’t really match her dress which I planned based on the original cake. The plastic trees blew off as well right when we took the cake out so w roost those immediately. I will not trust this bakery again with a special memory.

Update: They told me via text I’d be refunded for the cake and never was refunded.

We visited Oahu from California and got married there! I ordered a cake as a way to celebrate our elopement and make it more special! We are not really big cake people but this cake was delicious. I ordered my favorite flavor, red velvet! The cake and frosting was delicious. It was also so beautiful and exactly what we wanted. They delivered our cake to our hotel and definitely understandstood my request of subtle disney touches.

Got a cake for my grandsons 1st birthday nicely done and taste was great

I ordered a birthday cake and cookies from Oahu Bakes & Brew (Oahu Cakes). Despite it being a last-minute order, they delivered everything ahead of time. The cake was not only beautiful, but also delicious. They even created a customized banner with the name on it. The cake looked even better than the picture I had sent them for inspiration. Their customer service is truly exceptional. They exceeded my expectations in every way. I will definitely be using their services again, and I highly recommend that you give them a try too.

Visiting Hawaii for vacation (from Toronto ??) Ordered a Cake for my daughter's 4th birthday and it was awesome. Very great presentation and tasty Flavor. Everything on the cake was edible.

Ordered a cake for my husband’s birthday last minute. Oahu Cakes was able to accommodate and went above and beyond! The cake was just as I wanted plus it was easily one of the most delicious cakes I’ve had. I highly recommend stopping by or placing a custom order!

BEST cupcakes!!! Ordered two dozen cupcakes from Texas and they delivered on time to my son at his flight school yesterday in Barber's Point. Thank you all for making his day special, especially when we couldn't be there.
