This place can make most items vegan. The pad Thai is not made vegan, because the sauce is pre made. I had the pumpkin curry, papaya salad, and my son had the pad see ew. So good!

It’s roadside so the atmosphere isn’t the greatest. But tables are clean and service was great!

They always have incredibly fresh, delicious food. This is a roadside food stand. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend Lava Thai Food. There is a covered area with about 4 picnic tables. We usually just eat there if we're not in a hurry!

Delicious food and warm hospitality...what more could you ask for??? I'm seriously at a loss for words to describe how GOOD their food is. Hands down the best on the east side...maybe the best on the island! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
Wow!!! This is some of the best Thai food I’ve had in a long time! We got the chicken satay, cashew chicken, and green curry. Everything was DELICIOUS. We tried to go back a few days later, and found they were closed through the holidays. I’ll definitely be back when they reopen in January. Do yourself a favor and call your order in, or you will have a pretty long wait. WORTH THE WAIT.
