Always good friendly service. Clean. Parking with the drive thru can be challenging at breakfast. Lunch and dinner times. Nice location between Pahoa, Mountain View and Hilo. Hoping for more variety in the future.

Online it shows they open the drive thru at 4. This is further from the truth. One morning I came at 4 before work hoping to get breakfast only to wait a half hour and having to leave. Another morning I tried at 5. I must have gotten lucky that day cause today I came at 5 and have been sitting for 40 min just to have to pull into the near by gas station instead. 6 is when the dining room opens. So I am to assume they open the drive thru at that time now..? Maybe update the times in which they advertise to be open to save some people some time and just get food else where

If you have to travel around the island this is the best McDonalds (compared to Pahoa and Hilo). Its been remodeled and the food is always on point. Service is fast and friendly. The only one I will go to!

They almost always get my order wrong, but in small ways that I Don't usually feel like taking it back over. Like they forget the cheese or don't modify the burgers according to instruction like no pickles. This time it was onions and pickles... I guess the real answer is to eat real foods.Parking: Sometimes parking fills up and it can take a bit to find a spot.Kid-friendliness: Kid loves it.
