NOT GLUTEN FREE. Even though Google has Spoonful Cafe at the top of the list for eating gluten free in Kea'au, I was advised when I called to order they do not actually have anything on the menu that can be prepared gluten free. It's not the cafe's fault that Google has decided that they are the pinnacle of GF dining so I didn't want to hit them unfairly with a low rating. We happened upon Spoonful after spending time at Volcanoes National Park. Even though it was only open for Take out orders, they were very friendly and courteous. The food was AMAZING!! It was exactly what everyone wanted.
