Visiting Teshimas from O'ahu in Mei, one of the highlights of my trip was the beautiful hospitality from Teshima's ohana member serving us. She was beautiful inside and out. Ono food too!
Great food, my steak fried rice omelette was tasty !!!

Teshima's Restaurant is a local institution with great Japanese home-style food. The service is excellent and friendly with an authentic smile, and the food is fantastic. The ahi sashimi is incredibly fresh, and the miso sauce butter fish is super flavorful and soft. The chicken teriyaki is highly recommended. The omelette rice is delicious and comes in big portions. The Number 3 platters, shrimp tempura teishoku, and tasty combo plate offer a perfect representation of the restaurant's culinary intentions. The pupu weekend lunch special is also a great choice.
Parking is very easy, and while there may be a line outside, it moves quickly. The restaurant feels imbued with history and tradition as a family owned and almost 100 years old establishment. You can feel the love, pride, and aloha. The tempura is light and crispy, and the portions are healthy. Diners can’t wait to come back.
