“What a fantastic performance Brenton put on with Mulligan's Magic Show! I had heard about this show from another family we met while horseback riding one day on our trip to Maui and we literally altered our Road to Hana day to be back in time for this show... and we were SO GLAD we did! It was the perfect evening and a nice break away from just seeing the beauty of nature. Brenton was funny, engaging, family friendly, and full of energy but he was also SO talented with his magic! I have a 21 and 18 year old and they were so impressed, laughing most of the night. We caught a couple of his tricks on video and posted them and our Facebook friends were in awe too! This show is WELL worth your time and money, and Mulligans offered fantastic dinner options too. Go see the show if you get the chance - you won't regret it! It's truly... well, "magical". :)“

We were overindulged from the moment we sat down at the table with the most beautiful view, surrounded by soothing live music. The care and concern from each and every staff member was evident, making sure that the best possible bottle of wine for our meal was chosen, that our water glass was never too empty, that each plate delivered was well executed and well presented and explained, when done each time dishes were taken away quickly, the pacing of the meal was well done, just everything and everything! Perfection! And a special note to Sasha- we already noted during our meal service- the finesse and skill you brought to the level of service was just outstanding! Kudos to you and to the team that supports you in making sure that each of your tables gets the attention that they deserve! To say that our anniversary dinner was memorable is truly an understatement! It will be that feeling of being so well taken care of and that every orchestrated element enhanced our celebration will be what brings us back over and over again. We already are making plans to come back and I know we will be coming back over and over again! With our deepest appreciation! …and then the food! Truly the best farm to table experience on Maui! Two highlights were the Maui onion soup presented with the perfect amount of cheese and puffed pastry topping- just perfectly seasoned. And then the Haleakala filet mignon, once again perfectly cooked and perfectly seasoned and topped with compound butter that was melted at table side with rosemary. (It feels like we are saying perfect too much! But we do mean it!) Then to end the evening celebration with our chocolate lava cake surrounded by white and milk chocolate fondue with banana bread and fresh fruits was simply scrumptious! Chef Junior Ulep, Mahalo for our special night, with our deepest grateful hearts, we appreciate your mana and the joyfulness in which you have chosen to feed us and our fellow patrons at Kula Lodge Restaurant!“

“We recently had our wedding at Gannons and it was AMAZING! We were blown away at how beautiful the ceremony site was (Molikini Lookout) as well as the reception site (Lower Lawn). Gannons was great to work with from the start! If you are looking to get married at Gannons we would HIGHLY recommend upgrading your ceremony site to Molokini Lookout, the view was breathtaking and the pictures do not do it justice!! We are so glad we decided to have our ceremony at Molokini Lookout. We were really happy with all the staff (especially the bartender, he was AWESOME!!). We did have a few hiccups with dinner and dessert. The crab cakes (appetizer) were to DIE for and everyone loved the salads. We were disappointed that the fish that was served along with the filet of beef for dinner was very fishy and not edible. The filet however was delicious. The timing of the meals was also disappointing. The salads were served quickly but the dinner course took quite a long time to come out after. We had guests asking where the dinner was. We also had the same issue with dessert, unfortunately. The dessert was not brought out until after last call was made (over an hour after dinner was finished) and less than 15 minutes before the wedding was over! We had decided to add the "chef selection of desserts" for our guests along with serving cake and unfortunately hardly any of our guest were able to enjoy any dessert since it was served so late. So, if you do decide to get married at Gannons (which we still recommend) we would suggest having a detailed timeline for courses and dessert to avoid what happened to us. Overall, we are very happy with our decision to choose Gannons for our wedding day!“

“Great view of the Maui sunset with live ukulele music, tiki torches and very tasty food. The carrot and banana curry was very nice as a vegetarian meal. It was my birthday. I noted that on my reservation and they surprised me with a very generous bowl of ice cream with chocolate sauce with a flower and candle garnish. I asked the sweet waiter how she knew and she said she noticed it on my file. This never happened to me on any other birthday reservation on this app so I was delighted. We watched the sunset with West Maui, Molokai and Lanai in the distance. This is casual by the Marriott Pool. More formal restaurant is upstairs.“

“After United Airlines cancelled our scheduled flight home nine hours after scheduled departure we were left to our own devices to locate lodging and transportation for the night since the Maui airport essentially closes down at 11 pm and the flight cancellation occurred at 10 pm. Fortunately, my wife was able to get the last two available rooms at the Marriott Courtyard near the airport and we got one of the last two cabs at the airport to transport us. The desk personnel were extremely friendly and understanding. The rooms were large, clean and well laid out. One room complaint though- the toilets are set on very short pedestals so it is painful for older, tall people to sit on the toilet seat. There is a small snack and beverage shop adjacent to the front desk and there is a bar area (closes at 10:30 to 11 pm) which also serves as a breakfast area in the am opposite the front desk. During the day they do have a free shuttle to and from the airport. There is a pool and nice grounds though due to our circumstances we were not around to use them. Room prices are high ($580 plus per room after taxes and fees). Not sure whether that is normal price or due to our circumstances (either way we were happy to have rooms to sleep in).“

“I cried good tears this morning. I've never in my life cried because of how divine the food was. I ordered the crab cakes benedict, usually when I order crab cakes it's a hash brown with little bits of crab meat but this one is purely crab and it was so fresh like it was caught in the early hours before restaurant opened. Eggs were cooked to perfection and the hollandaise sauce was heavenly. It was love on a plate, my compliments to the chef! Service was absolutely wonderful, lovely and welcoming ladies. They were very attentive and efficient. Mahalo nui loa! 🌺“

“As a local it's always nice to have an opportunity to take my out of town guest for an unexpected dining experience on Maui. It's sometimes not just about beaches, but serenity, calmness, quiet and good conversations over consistently great food.“
