Be brave. This isn't like most restaurants I've visited. You walk into a display of fresh cut fish. It's very clean. Order from the menu and its fantastic, cooked to order. Visited twice, the food was a delight.

Our favorite lunch spot on the island! Simple outdoor dining on picnic tables, but the food is perfect! I like Ono Wrap, wife likes Teriyaki Chicken plate, double Mac Salad. Can be take out for the beach?
We have eaten here twice in three days and enjoyed it both times! We ordered the Ahi Fish Tacos and they are fantastic. We had them cooked medium well and next time I would go with medium rare. But the flavors are fantastic! Two fish tacos are enough for two people if you aren’t huge eaters or you are planning to get a treat afterwards ?. We got the side of beans and they tasted great and were a decent amount as a side dish. It would be even better if the side was 1/3 less the amount of beans and add a scoop of rice with the beans and cheese. Our second visit we ordered the Ahi fish tacos again and the AL burrito but they heard us wrong and gave us the green wrap, which was good but a little disappointing because the spices for the tacos are so good and we didn’t like the sweet sesame sauce as much. But overall great place to eat! Located just opposite the Kilauea Market where the dark shade canopy and tables are. They also have complimentary cold filtered water, which is so nice!

Unpretentious and delicious lunch stop. Tried the mahi mahi plate lunch with rice and Mac salad. The fish was some of the best I've had. The sauce is equally awesome.

The ahi burrito was good, though, for hot sauce, they only had sriracha. I've never cared for sriracha.

Ate here twice in three days and may go back again before we leave. Killer Ono fish tacos as well as a delicious grilled fish plate. Heck, I was even craving the salad the next day hence why we had it again. Friendly service each time, but they do get busy so bring your patience and enjoy the view. Drink fridge is busted so drinks are warm but they do have free filtered water available. There’s a market across the parking lot where you can go grab something cold if needed.
Will definitely be recommending this place to family and friends.
