Our family's first luau experience was fantastic. The oceanfront location made for a unique and memorable evening. There was a drizzle of rain during most of the event, but it gifted us with a very pretty rainbow during sunset. The staff made sure that every guest had access to a rain poncho for comfort. The food & drink options were wonderful and the show was just as educational as it was entertaining. The skill and dedication of the entire luau team was impressive. Mahalo for the wonderful time!

My family and I got to experience the Auli'i Luau and we had a great time. It was always on my parent's bucket list to visit Hawaii and attend a Luau, so they had high expectations. They thoroughly enjoyed the show and food. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere/staff was very welcoming. It was beautiful being right on the beach with ocean views during sunset. The food was tasty and plentiful. The open bar of drinks was well stocked. The performers did an amazing job and all it was narrated beautifully, telling the history of the dances and where they originated. It was not only a performance but a great way to learn about the island and the people. The fire show at the end was amazing!

The best luau I’ve attended. Food was delicious - lots of options. The service was wonderful - very attentive staff even in the general seating which we did. The atmosphere on the beach was great. And the show was spectacular along with the incredibly talented band - just awesome!

Food is not very good at all. I would say only the beef was good. Didn’t realize they don’t do the traditional smoke pit Kahlúa pork, so that was a bummer, understandable though because it’s on hotel property. Wish I would have done more research. Not worth the over $200 per person. Dancers are also only so/so… the fire show was great though. I’ve been to luaus on every island and sadly this one was the worst.

Best luau experience! Beautiful beachfront location, unique activities before the show, great quality gifts at a reasonable price, large assortment of delicious food, good drinks, and an amazing show. Will definitely do it again. And the photographer was amazing too! Honestly cannot think of a single complaint. Loved it all start to finish! Mahalo!

This luau was well worth the price and experience. The performance is extremely well-rehearsed, the LIVE MUSIC top notch with great Hawaiian harmonies, dancing varied and educational. Polished master of ceremonies, beautiful setting. Zero qualms recommending this to others. (note—no roasted pig in the ground. It’s a varied buffet that is fine).

Probably one of the nicer lu’au s on Kauai, but still ranks in the middle of the pack between my favorites (warrior’s luau, Oahu and a few on Maui). Good food, drinks, and performances.

This was THE BEST Luau experience one could ask for! We had a family of 15. We ended up booking in the Premium section and that was definitely the right choice. The owner, Lahina, was so sweet and kind. Lots of the people working are family, which was great to know. We were staying at Koloa Landing, so a fairly easy walk over along the beach.

Here are some of the best things:
- it's on the beach, so plenty of photo opportunities. Also a beautiful experience to watch the sunset and then have the show come on.
- the pre-show activities for the kids & family. This was a pleasant surprise.
- the food - was delicious. A few event went back for seconds.
- most important was we didn't have to go anywhere. We weren't shuttled to another location to have to see anything.

The performers were also exceptional. This luau was a highlight for our 10 days in Kauai (so much that our daughter asked to go to another luau in Oahu). Would absolutely come here again and recommend this to others.

The entertainment was nice. We enjoyed the emcee and the pre-show activities. The appetizers were a bit strange. Some of the dishes in the buffet line were dirty.
