I got the Savory, my husband got the Jens Bomb and I can't rave about them enough. They are located a few feet from Starbucks, so please make sure to get the food from this place and you will not be disappointed.
Mine was a perfectly baked croissant with layer after layer of that beautiful flaky crust and filled with ham and cheese. His was jalapeño cream cheese and something that tasted like a cross between pure magic, and that feeling you get when you stretch and your back pops just right. If that feeling could be translated to a taste, that's what this was.
Finally we shared a bit of coffee cake and it was the lightest, best coffee cake I've ever had. Heaven. I can't recommend this place enough. Just go try it.

Love this new bakery in Poipu. The Mac nut banana bread is way better than other island choices. Wish it came in larger loafs. We also tried their yummy cakes. Finding German Chocolate that good on the island is hard. They do not always have everything on their menu. I haven't seen any bread this week. Banana bread was previously frozen. Wish I knew before I bought it. Prefer to buy fresh only.

We stopped in yesterday and left with a loaf of banana bread, pain au chocolate and morning bun. The banana bread was ok. It had a nice flavor, almost kind of nutty but, I didn't get a banana flavor and while it wasn't dry, it wasn't real moist either. The morning bun was very good. The pastry was light and flaky with a nice coating of cinammon sugar. I could have done with out the gob of goo stuck in the middle. If it was supposed to be creme patisserie, it missed. It tasted like vanilla pudding out of a box. The pain au chocolate was the best of the bunch. I was in Paris this past spring and realized what we think croissants taste like is not what french croissants taste like. However, this came pretty close. Not quite as flaky as it should be but pretty good. I might go back and try the bread. It looked and smelled amazing.

The pastries are so bad. The bugs in a blanket have horrible texture, and the hot dog is bitter. The Jens bomb taste worse than a chicken bake from costco.
So nasty, this ruined my morning

I custom ordered grain free, sugar cane free cupcakes that meet my dietary needs. These cupcakes are SO incredibly delicious & I can eat them without dietary consequences. I can't tell you what a treat that is!

Nice, quaint location. Was sad to hear they hired a new baker, the new products aren’t as good as they used to be. Loved to order the Jen’s Bomb and their holiday specials like the carrot cake!! Service is okay, the younger girl that works there can be a bit rude sometimes but she does her job. Hopefully the new baker can eventually make an impression with their items like the last one did.

Another win for my Kauai Google food list. Thanks for so many awesome reviews here, because we might have not known about this spot.
Place had a line of 8 people before it even opened at 7:30am on a random Thursday morning. Usually a pretty good sign. Looks like maybe the owner and one other helper were manning the place, so although they were hospitable and fast, I can imagine waits could possibly become long here.
No seating inside and quite small, so leave the big group back at the beach and grab your stuff for to-go.
Now on to the goods! Jen's Bomb was everything I had hoped for. Super rich, soft milk bread pastry, filled with thee richest, creamiest cream cheese and jalapeno filling. Ambrosia. The Brunch Bun was the surprise hit of the bunch. Super moist with a perfect texture, with a zingy savory quality and a soft-boiled egg right in the middle. Brunch Bun wins out for me.
Just an all-around awesome, personalized touch to the island's bakery scene.

This is a a decent breakfast spot with a few good options. Had the crumble cake and it was delicious. A bit pricy even for Kauai standards.
