Good beer, lacking in service. Ordered food, received some, told server the rest was never delivered. Did not try to make it right or refund

It's hard to find great beer in Hawaii, when you don't care for an IPA. Excellent beer, over the top service ( Mo was awesome) and great tacos to boot!

Nice relaxed atmosphere. Shrimp Tacos, Street Tacos with excellent chipotle salsa, Small Burger and Beer for the win. Drove from the Northshore for a late lunch. Great people!

This sweet little spot on Kauaʻi, it holds a beautiful mana (spirit), and once you find it, it just keeps pulling you back. My beautiful wahine (wife) and I, we were only on the island for one short week, but we kept coming back—four times! Like the tide, it just calls you home.
I made it my mission to sample every single brew they had flowing, just to see what kind of talent they get on tap. They’ve got some good ones, truly. But if I had to pick one to sing about, the one that really touched my soul, it’s the delightful Country Time Belgian farm ale. It’s so clean, so crisp, it just sings the song of the islands right in your glass.
The whole atmosphere here is pure lokahi (harmony). It’s so easy and relaxed—exactly where you want to hoʻonanea (unwind) and forget your troubles. We loved settling in, especially when the evening cooled and those warm outdoor fire pits were glowing under the stars. It’s the perfect setting for my lady and me.
And the staff? Oh, they are the heart of the place! Always so genuinely friendly, always with that deep, warm Aloha spirit for everybody who walks through the door. If you’re planning a trip to Kauaʻi, you simply must add Mucho Aloha Brewhouse to your itinerary. Five stars, no question. Mahalo nui loa, everybody. Right on!

Really cute place with a nice atmosphere. Hilariously small portion on the fish taco. Maybe .5oz per taco. I pointed it out and they did bring more fish but only for me when three of us at the table had the same dish with the same issue. When I piled all the fish and slaw into one tortilla, it made a pretty solid taco lol
Don't eat here. They had me waiting around for 40 minutes. I watch three parties get their meals, eat them and leave before someone comes up to me with the most bloodshot eyes I’ve seen and tells me that they’re out of what I ordered and they’re gonna put together something that is good or an equivalent to what I ordered. I got a cold meal $10 up charge for three of the smallest most unfresh fish pieces I’ve ever eaten. I’m not gonna pay $35 for a cold meal and I’m not a tourist either guys.

Came here for a meal during our honeymoon. To say I was disappointed would be a understatement the tacos were bland and had no flavor and the nachos had so much Chipotle in the crema it made it unedible. At a lunch cost of $101 for Temu mexican food i was sorely disappointed. On top of it the staff wasn't shocked or cared when I said how horrible the food was.

If you’re searching for a great BREWERY nearby, don’t let Google fool you. We thought this was more of a taproom/pour house but it turns out they make their own beer and it’s the best we have had on the island, maybe the best in Hawaii!

Walking into Mucho Aloha Brewhouse was truly an experience—but not one I’d recommend to anyone with an ounce of self-respect. Let’s start with the greeting. I use that term loosely because the person taking orders could barely be bothered to address anyone in line, instead hydrating like she’d been on a desert trek (or perhaps just nursing a hangover). Every single time we made it up to her in line, she’d be gulping water, ready to prioritize whoever randomly wandered up to the bar over the entire line of patiently waiting customers. If you’re into a system that defies logic and customer service, this is the place for you.
We eventually managed to grab our own menus—because apparently, at Mucho Aloha, you serve yourself in every possible way. And don’t expect a friendly heads-up on what they’re out of until you try to order it. My attempt to get a beer I actually wanted was met with a “sorry, we’re out” and a weak suggestion to try a honey IPA that had all the charm of flat soda and genuinely made me gag. Nothing quite says “craft beer” like a lack of carbonation, right?
When our food finally arrived, I realized they were serious about the whole “self-serve” vibe. I had to go hunt down utensils and napkins by the water coolers—no, not actual table service water, but some DIY hydration station that made me question their sanitary practices. And, as luck would have it, there weren’t any napkins or utensils there either. So I had to trudge back to the counter, get back in line, and wait again, only to be handed cold food by the time I got back to my table. Really setting new standards here.
At this point, we decided it’d be best to cut our losses and take our food to go. But naturally, even that involved getting back in line just to beg for to-go boxes. By the end, I felt like I’d spent more time waiting in line than actually eating. Oh, and if you do need to use the restroom? Better hope you remember the key code, because Mucho Aloha takes bathroom security to a whole new level. Nothing like a fortress approach to the facilities in a place that already feels like a bathroom due to the lovely aroma and close proximity to, well, everything.
Save yourself the time, money, and sanity—skip Mucho Aloha Brewhouse. You’re better off eating at a gas station.
Idle is a great bartender
