My first shave ice in Hawaii and damn this one delivered had the mixed fresh fruit shaved ice with dragon fruit and guava, and a guava is super highly recommended, and it came with ice cream but which was only a dollar but I wouldn't even need the ice cream. I just wanted the shaved ice cuz it was so refreshing and smooth, also accidentally had a free hula show on the bench next to the truck on Monday evening so that was a solid experience but definitely come back

edit: came back again and got the shave ice with mango and guava with no ice cream and she gave us extra Mac nuts which was a nice treat and it was incredibly drinkable and still my favorite spot to pick this up. surprisingly being the first one I've been to for it, it's. so smooth and soft and light and highly recommended. also have a hot dog and it was okay

We stopped during our bike ride and wanted a refreshing shaved ice and this was an amazing choice. We got the organic syrups because they were made from fresh fruit, and it was sooo delicious! Anything with the strawberry is excellent!

Hands down the best shaved ice we've had - in Hawaii or anywhere else. The organic flavors were delicious and refreshing rather than the overpowering sugary syrup concoction most places serve. Get the ice cream and cream coating too.

Fantastic shave ice; I had the coconut & pineapple with macadamia nut ice cream & sprinkles topped with coconut whipped cream. It don't get much bet'r n that!!!

This place is a hidden gem. A must go to when on the island. Prices are reasonable and shave ice and snacks are the bomb. Make sure to see Mindy (owner) and she will make you feel like a Kamaina (family)

Hands down one of the best places for shaved ice on the Island! Amazing service and the homemade fresh syrups are next level 👍🏼 not only is the shaved ice amazing, but so is their food and we thoroughly enjoyed pork Kailua nachos after a long day of diving 🤿🌺

This place is OUTSTANDING!! We (luckily) discovered this gem while casually driving by. I slammed on my brakes when I saw the colorful shaved ice sign! What brought us back everyday during our vacation was the kind service and the amazing items in the menu. The fresh fruit organic flavors are absolutely beautifully curated by the owner. I ordered the Kailua Pork Nachos, Cold Brew, Iced Coffee and a shaved ice everyday! The owner is kind, quick and everything on the menu is absolutely beautiful!!

Everything about this spot is perfection! It’s a tiny kiosk in front of the beach with excellent snorkeling 🤿 and killer sunsets. But what was most impressed with was the selection of organic and natural syrups with real fruit and just cane sugar that Mindy makes herself. It doesn’t get more Hawaiian than this.
If you’re not here for the shaved ice then get the lava sundae which comes with an ooey gooey warm brownie. Not to be missed. By far the best shaved ice experience I’ve had yet!

Mindy, the owner is amazing and has done the world a Service with her homemade organic syrups. I generally haven’t been a big fan of shaved ice, but my mind has been blown by how good it can be. This is the best shaved ice on the island and likely beyond. Definitely check out Riptides. You won’t be disappointed.

What an awesome find. My first time in Kauai I had to have a hotdog. Talking with the owner it turns out she is from New Jersey not far from where I grew up. We had a great time talking about where we lived. Small world concept at work. Great food and smoothies. I’ve eaten here twice. Thanks, Mindy for your awesome service.
