Incredible shave ice. Lived on the North Shore of Oahu and have had my fair share of excellent shave ice. This shave ice is bomb. Pieces of fruit in every bite. Just amazing taste. Pops in your mouth.

Fantastic place for shaved ice. Shaved ice was amazing, especially with the vanilla ice cream inside. The ono ice cream sundae was great to share. Food was fantastic and the service was fantastic as well. We will definitely come back.

Best shave Ice over by beach house resturaunts. If you’re looking for a great shave ice full of flavor and actually shaved not chunky ice this is the spot. Great ocean views to enjoy it too! Looked so good I ate before I took a picture lol 😂

Very good shave ice and ice cream at a great location. The only thing keeping me from giving them 5 stars are that on at least two occasions in the last few days, we've ordered and paid for the snow cap and haven't gotten it. I'll be watching more closely on future visits to make sure we get and encourage you to do the same. Otherwise, go there and enjoy their great food!

Service is slow. They’re young and incompetent. Prices are high and they charge service fee for credit card. Do not recommend!!!

The best tasting shaved ice we found. They have traditional syrups or homemade organic syrups. The service was quick and the kids working there were kind. We were visited by the day gecko that lives near the stand. They have a little table/grassy area or a beach across the street.

Riptides Shave Ice & Snacks on Kauai gets a glowing 5 stars from me! This place totally stole the show for shave ice on our entire trip. First off, the location is unbeatable - right on the beach! Perfect for cooling down after a day in the sun. But what really sets them apart is the quality. They use fresh fruit syrups, and you can really taste the difference. We really appreciate this type of syrup, because our son has a sensitivity to food coloring. It's so much more refreshing and flavorful than the typical artificial stuff. And get this - they actually poke holes in the shave ice before pouring the syrup on! This might seem like a small detail, but it makes a huge difference. The syrup gets all the way down, so every single bite is bursting with flavor. We tried shave ice at a few other places on Kauai, but Riptides was hands down the best. They absolutely deserve all the praise!

Our favorite place to grab shave ice by far. Awesome service and incredible flavors! You can take your treat across the road and watch the surfers on the grass in front of the Beach house restaurant or sit at their picnic table with a view of the ocean.
The Ube and coconut shave ice is a must try!
