My husband and I had a fabulous evening while in Kauai eating dinner at RumFire! We both got the Filet Mignon with mashed potatoes and my husband got the asparagus with his. During our two week stay in The Big Island and Kauai, we both agreed that this was our all-around best meal! We plan to go back next year! ?️? ☀️

The food and service were awesome, BUT it's freezing in there. Everyone was so cold in there so they didn't have enough blankets for everybody because of that you just want to eat and leave asap. They said its not adjustable as it's connecting to the whole hotel.

Rumfire is in a beautiful location on Kauai and we were really looking forward to a special family celebration meal. Don’t get me wrong, the food is lovely but, for us, being blasted by strong AC ruined our dining experience. We were freezing which made the long wait for our dinner very uncomfortable. By the time we got to dessert, the blast was so strong we could hardly keep a birthday candle lit on our daughter’s cake. For us, not what we had hoped and will look to try somewhere new next time on Kauai.

Went here for my wife's birthday. It was absolutely amazing. We had a reservation but ended up just sitting at the bar since we arrived early. The bar is nice and roomy and is full service. Bartenders were amazing and helpful. We got some cocktails, the goat cheese Fondo, the quad entre flight, and cheesecake for dessert. Everything was so amazing and tasty !! ? will definitely be back soon!

This gem is hidden inside the Sheraton Hotel and offered a terrific happy hour between 5-6. Noel the bartender gave excellent service and his recommendation of the white fish special was spot on. I especially enjoyed the brussel sprout appetizer and it contained sausage slices. Seeing a couple next to us order the flatbread, gave me flatbread envy so we returned the next day. Yes, I had the flatbread appetizer and delicious lamb. The ambiance was warm and cozy with an ocean view.

The staff is friendly and acknowledged us by name the 2nd time we ate there during this stay. The food was fantastic. I love a fairly compact menu. The fish was nicely done. We tried the quad option so we could share four smaller entrees. The lamp chops were amazing. I would get that as an entree in our next visit. Conveniently located at the Sheraton in Poipu. Not your typical overpriced resort restaurant.

We loved going to RumFire on New Year's Eve! They had such great ambiance, dancing, drinks, and food too! The service was fantastic.

The ambiance and the spectacular view of the Pacific make this a great setting for a special occasion. The food is also very good , if pricey, and the service is good as well.

Of all the places we ate on the island, RumFire was my favorite and it was on the hotel property. The only downside is that it was only open for something like 3 days out of the week. I wanted to go back! We had the "try four items" on the menu and more. The Brussel sprouts were some of the best I ever had. I also had the rum flight which was totally worth it. Service was excellent and friendly. Again, the only negative is they aren't open more!

This place is overpriced, and we will not be returning. After we got our salad for an appetizer, it took 45 minutes for our entrées to arrive, and the restaurant was not busy at all because we arrived when it was still happy hour. My husband’s entrée, which was the Hawaiian catch Was disgusting. It was very bland and had an overwhelming fishy flavor. He ended up sending it back. I got the pick 2 which was supposed to have half a portion of filet mignon and half portion of the other fish. Both of those things were very good but the fish was more like one quarter of a small fish. There are much better other options near by.

My boyfriend and I picked this restaurant as our one date night on vacation. It did not disappoint. The filet mignon was FANTASTIC and coming from people who were born and raised in Wyoming says something. We also loved the "everything but goat cheese fondue" very tasty! Cocktails were also so good and finally, the views were absolutely breathtaking too. 10/10!
