Nothing special and basically like any other shave ice. We had to wait more than 45min since the management of the place decided to put literally two children to work and coordinate everything. The kids seemed super sweet and nice but I’m sorry we’re not coming back for this.

Really good shave ice. The strawberry syrup is more like a nectar, giving a bold flavor. Other fruits are prepared as needed, again allowing for maximum flavor. Portions are very generous and easily shared by two people. Good enough that we went twice while on the island. This is not a snow cone!!! It’s shave ice!Tables could’ve used a wipe down, but they’re outside communal tables shared with a couple other nearby shops, so hard to say whose responsibility that is. And wasn’t bad enough to deter our return for a repeat visit.

I love this place! I live down the street and it's a challenge not to stop by for a weekly treat.I've been a regular for 3 years now my favorite is the Chevron, a coconut lime concoction with chia seed cream on top.Tips: if you find a long line, take a walk through Koloa town and circle back.Go with the posted menu, this isn't a pick and choose situation like ordinary shave ice places...the flavor profiles are made with fresh local ingredients and the combinations are magic.Lastly, a little Aloha goes a long way...you are not buying a new car, It's SHAVE ice ❤️Kid-friendliness: They have a bookshelf out front with children's books to borrow and return while you enjoy a shave ice.

Like with most shave ice, two of these were $18 and there is hardly any fruit at all. The favors were good but I just think the price of shaved water with some syrup is unconscionable. My sister in law really liked her berry one. That was definitely better than my coconut pineapple.

Not a typical shaved iced place, they have preset combinations of flavors and don't let you alter anything. When we went, they were out of the majority of their ingredients and still wouldn't allow us to make our own combination of flavors. Instead they sold us the orange cream flavor and didn't have the toppings for it, yet sold it at full price. I honestly think if you've run out of ingredients and won't allow people to use the few ingredients you have left in the late afternoon you should just call it a day and close! Oh well, could be fun if some changes were made and it's in a good location.

But we were redeemed when we came back on Monday and they were open!! Went in and looked at the menu on the wall. There's only 8 options on the menu, but I couldn't decide. So I asked which were the most popular items and they told me The Fu Manchu and The Handle Bar, so we got both of those. The juice is fresh and not artificial, fresh fruit on top and the shave ice was just perfect. I'm writing this review after sampling a few other shave ice on the island and this is by far my husband and my favorite. Highly recommend!

Packed with flavor and doesnt have a bold sugary syrup like flavor. It tastes SO GOOD! Never had shaved ice like this before. So glad we stopped here. Serving size was giant! 1 cup could serve 2-3 people. Lots of fun flavors to choose from and cool outdoor seating.

This was my first time having shave ice and omg sooo good. It reminded me of gola gunda from Pakistan (I'm Pakistani). The condensed milk really makes the shave ice and I love that the syrups they use are from fresh fruits!! Only downside is you don't get to select your flavors, there's like 5 to choose from and they don't have as much fresh fruits I would like them to have. Otherwise sooo tasty.
