The shave ice was good and plenty! I love the macadamia ice cream! The staff was friendly and nice, and the food was good. Only one group is allowed in the store to time, so that's a little weird, and there's really no place to share your shave ice with a friend. But it is worth the stop at both locations in Kauai.

My wife and I shared the Island Nectar... passion fruit, Mango and guava on a bed of macadamia nut ice cream. The flavors were amazing and the ice cream really set it off. We failed to take a picture of it before we scared it down. I guess we will need to return and have it again.
Notice I said "shared" one size and it is huge! Looking forward to that return trip.

The shaved ice was delicious, but the honey toast was by far my favorite dessert served here. It is hallowed out toasted bread, with the bread chunks in the middle of the dessert. There is macadamia nut ice cream on top of the toast, with honey on the bread and the ice cream. Yum!!! I can't wait to go back. ?

Uncles was a great spot for Shave Ice! The family wanted to go here every day of the trip. The shave ice was very good in every flavor we tried. They only allow one party inside to order at a time, so the line moved pretty slow so plan ahead with some extra time. Also, the seating is outside and the seats and tables are pretty messy. Still highly recommend!

Humongous portions with creative presentations and flavorful ice creams that make this Shave Ice stand out amongst competitors.

Enjoyed a POG and Strawberry & Cream one night on a Wednesday in June. The wait was about four families and less than 10 minutes. Service was fast as groups wait outside until their turn to enter and order.

Will be returning to try their Japanese toast!

There are no smoothies. Very disappointed children when we drove over here for smoothies based on their name, and there are no smoothies.

SHARE YOUR SHAVED ICE. Not complaining just warning, the shaved ice is huge! But it was great, not smothered in syrup. Definitely try the Island Nectar or add on cream.

Abysmal service. Cashier asked for our order but then kept her back to us the entire time we spoke. Just generally unfriendly, with nothing but glares from her. Shave ice was just okay. This was the 3rd place we've been to for shave ice in Kauai and definitely the worst. They only have one single size and it's $10+ for pretty basic quality.

HUGE portion! We shared between three people. Felt like a more traditional shave ice experience than other shops that have some more interesting / unique toppings. The person working was so friendly and helpful, teaching us about how he prepares shave ice differently based on weather.

Yummy large shaved ice. Hard to mess this up and reasonable prices. If you’re in the area hit them up but I wouldn’t go out of my way to come here…tastes like they all do lol
