“The very very slow service was all forgiven by the most delicious food. Chicken with garlic confit and mushroom sauce and the veggie crepe entrees were super delicious and well executed. The chicken was served in shreds and was succulent, moist and tasty. The crepe looked like a dark flour was used, and was hot and a tiny bit crispy. However, the most epic thing I ate there was the chocolate mousse. Hands down, one of the best, if not the best, mousess I've ever had! All in all, it was a most delicious meal! I have a definite yearn to return to La Provence in Kula.“

Once Gigi finished with our cake setup, the beauty of it literally took my breath away and I immediately became teary eyed because all the months of planning- phone conversations and text messages with Gigi that went into designing this cake finally became a reality!I really appreciated how responsive she was with me throughout the design process. I wanted to add on some things to the design a couple weeks prior to our event date and Gigi was very accommodating with that. Her attention to the small details on the cake were beyond spectacular. She surprised us with the center of our teal lilies spray painted with gold!The taste of the cake itself was phenomenal. It was light and very moist and the flavors of each layer was bold and tasted like the real deal. “I haven't visited their actual location yet but had one of their pies at Duke's Beach House in Kaanapali and found the chocolate Pono Pie at the Farmers Market in Kaanapali. So fricking good. I ate the chocolate one for breakfast this morning, went really well with my coffee? If you see these in any local shops or have the chance to visit this location, do it. “Their sour dough bread is very good! Also their bagels are some of the best on the island. Their olive focaccia is excellent.Their cakes are ok and I didn't like their doughnuts very much.But for being a grocery store bakery, and for their prices on Maui, I definitely recommend to buy bread at Safeway Bakery.“
