“We just so happened to stumble upon Slappy Cakes while driving by in Maui! We decided to check it out before heading back home from vacation and Slappy Cakes did NOT disappoint!! The food was incredible, the atmosphere was great, and everyone was very friendly. Coy was our server and we will never forget how awesome he was!! Not only was he an excellent and very prompt server but he stayed after closing time to finish a conversation with us about the island that left a lasting impact on our hearts. Most would have pushed us out, but not a single staff at Slappy Cakes rushed us out at close so we could enjoy our meal and our experience while also making powerful connections! I loved the mix of classic breakfast favorites—like the omelet bar and waffles—paired with thoughtful local touches such as Portuguese sausage and tropical-inspired pastries. The addition of healthy, Asian-influenced options like stir-fried vegetables, fish, and dumplings makes the spread feel unique and well-balanced. There is genuinely something for everyone.

The dining room is beautifully designed, comfortable, and surprisingly quiet for a buffet. No matter where you sit, you get a stunning view of the ocean, which makes the whole experience feel even more special.

“The food is delicious, fresh, tasty and delightful. You can tell they are proud of their food. They put effort in their product. The variety of options from the pizza toppings, delicious wagyu burger, salad options, gyros, desserts and ice cream which is actually gelato consistency with so many options in flavors. And for those who love fries these are great so crunchy and fresh!

The service and cleanliness is worth mentioning and effort by the great staff from the cooks Alberto and Arturo, the friendly and helpful cashier Angela and awesome manger Nicholas. Not to forget the pineapple robot that serves at tables.

The prices, ambience, and location is top notch considering that it was so easy to get to and open late. It's at walking distance from our hotel and other resorts.

“We came here for tomohawk Tuesday and it was great! Highly recommend it was a coursed meal with shareable Caesar salad followed by the tomahawk(we got two orders of the dinner so each tomahawk was shared by three of us) and was served with mashed potatoes and broccolini. The broccolini was also really yummy and was crispy with a little citrus on it (had to give a shout out!). And then ends with a shareable dessert of ice cream and waffle. We also got the calamari and potstickers to start that were also yummy. Great service and easy to get to!“

“We've enjoyed breakfast here two days in a row so far. TONS of options to choose from; even the picky eaters have a lot of good items to choose from. Lots of variety; some staple items available every day but they switch it up, too. Love the view and the cold brew...ah! So good. We have been eating like kings and queens!“
