I was worried when I saw 1 of the 2 guys holding a huge bunch of cilantro - but we agreed on how disgusting it is, and I was assured none would be on the pulled pork sliders I wanted, so that's what I had and they were fantastic! Great food, and really nice guys. Thank you / Mahalo!

Best garlic shrimp plate ever! I've experienced a lot of shrimp dishes and this was hands down my favorite. Plus the Mac salad and slaw sides paired perfectly!

Lotts of dried up rice,7 shrimps with a drizzle of sauce and some coleslaw for $19 with tipping options 20/25/30 % for handing over food after 20 mins. If thatz ur thing go for it.

Food was ok, prices are not listed on the menu and are quite high ($19 for fries was a shock!)Also I waited 10 minutes before my order was taken without being acknowledged - the cashier was clearly working on other orders, but at least say something!

NOT RECOMMENDED!No prices on the menu, crazy expensive (50$ for 2 plates and no drinks), “fresh catch fish” pre frozen and over cooked, a lot of sugar added into the sauce, soggy in general and tacos with cold tortillas… not a good meal at all.

The food here tasted amazing and very authentic! I got the pulled pork sliders that came with curly fries and dipping sauce. The bun was soft and tasty even on its own, pulled pork saturated with their special BBQ soft - melt in mouth delicious, yummy pineapple coleslaw. Curly fries were really tasty along with their yummy dipping sauce. My husband got the pulled pork plate that came with rice and very tasty mac salad. Employees were very friendly!

Nani piracy is usually frowned upon so imagine my surprise at seeing a little food truck boldy claiming the bucannering of bum.If one can look past the freebooting lifestyle of a culture that holds eyepatch fashion and wooden prosthetics in high esteem- you'd find a very good plate of food here.I had the shoyu chicken and it was delicious though I imagine the scurvy hands that prepared it probably also burgalized some booty shortly beforehand, I enjoyed it.*Here's a bonus picture of Justin considering the swashbuckling life, pilfering punanis and snatching snatches.

Delicious tacos! We got the grilled fish and the pulled pork tacos. A little pricey at $20 per plate but they cater to gf, give good sized portions and the food was cooked fresh and super yummy! Good value for the quality and portion. Will come back for sure!Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options and substitutions available.

Bought takeout Monday and everything was delicious. Still adjusting to Hawaiian pulled pork but the sliders are the perfect balance of crunchy, soft, sweet, & savory. The tacos were even better the second day AND cold. Gotta time your order right cause this can be a crowded spot with long lines.Vegetarian options: A few tofu options are featured

Lackluster and low effort as all hell. Calamari is no-where near fresh. Sad to see such trash qualify food in such a prime location, they don't even fake caring about your food/experience. The pulled pork was the most terrible thing I've ever tasted, I've never spit out food before but I did here. Bland and terrible. The person who took my money was nice but the food was a disaster.

If you find yourself in Whalers Village and in need of a scrumptious meal, Da Nani Pirates should be on your radar. While our experience here had its ups and downs, overall, it was an above-average dining experience that could easily compete with the other restaurants in the area. One thing to note right off the bat is that Da Nani Pirates doesn't post their prices, so be prepared for a bit of uncertainty when it comes to the bill. They only accept cash, which can be a bit inconvenient in this digital age, but don't let that dissuade you from giving this place a try. Now, let's talk about the food - the treasure of any restaurant! The ahi tacos, shrimp tacos, and calamari plate were the stars of the show for my family. The flavors were delightful, and they truly captured the essence of island cuisine. However, the ahi tacos suffered from an overload of sauce. While we appreciate some extra flavor, it was a bit overwhelming and overshadowed the freshness of the fish.Speaking of prices, it's important to remember that most meals in Hawaii are à la carte, and Da Nani Pirates is no exception. While the ahi tacos, shrimp tacos, and calamari were undoubtedly delicious, the total bill for those items seemed a bit steep. Paying a hundred doubloons for these dishes felt a tad unreasonable, but hey, it's Hawaii, and island life comes with its own cost.Despite the pricing hiccup, the overall experience at Da Nani Pirates was pleasant. In conclusion, if you're willing to embrace the cash-only policy and accept that dining in Hawaii can be a bit pricier, Da Nani Pirates is a worthy option in Whalers Village. The food, while having a minor sauce issue, was above average and worthy of being in the running with other local establishments. ‍
