Duckine is a restaurant that offers a unique menu with huge portions and excellent food. The staff is friendly and full of Aloha spirit, ensuring a nice dining experience. The environment is upscale, and the mocktails are terrific, especially the Coconut Pandan Lemonade. The bao wows options are a must-try, and the Kaya Toast is undoubtedly the best part of the meal. The deep-fried bread with coconut pandan jam and kona coffee ice cream is a delightful combination. The bar area offers specials like the 30% off Bloody Mary on Mondays. The bartender is friendly and makes amazing drinks, like the KAI vodka drinks. Additionally, Duckine offers merchandise like hats, stickers, and mugs, making for great souvenirs. Despite the recent tragedy of the Maui fires, Duckine hopes to have a smooth reopening, and customers are encouraged to support local businesses like this incredible restaurant. Customers have praised the drinks, especially the Mai Tai, which was not too sweet, and the lilikoi lime honey Soda. The scallion pancakes are perfectly cooked but could use a sweet sauce and more scallion flavor. Shrimp, mushroom, and octopus bao buns are delicious, with the shrimp being a favorite despite some preferences about the ginger. Pork churaboto dumplings are good but need more ZING! The chopped salad was light and tasty, with added char siu pork having great flavor despite being cut a bit thick. The total bill is quite affordable, with friendly and fun service from staff like Lexi. The restaurant is known for its good food, great service, and spectacular view, making it a place worth visiting again. Vegetarian options like the Asian Salad are also available and appreciated.
