“So good! We had the Bloody Mary and Boa Monday specials for lunch (1 duck, 1 puffed shrimp) and then came back for dinner later too try the scallion pancakes, kurobuta pork dumplings, and Dan Dan noodles. Not quite authentic Chinese, but very delicious nonetheless!“

“We just so happened to stumble upon Slappy Cakes while driving by in Maui! We decided to check it out before heading back home from vacation and Slappy Cakes did NOT disappoint!! The food was incredible, the atmosphere was great, and everyone was very friendly. Coy was our server and we will never forget how awesome he was!! Not only was he an excellent and very prompt server but he stayed after closing time to finish a conversation with us about the island that left a lasting impact on our hearts. Most would have pushed us out, but not a single staff at Slappy Cakes rushed us out at close so we could enjoy our meal and our experience while also making powerful connections! “We've enjoyed breakfast here two days in a row so far. TONS of options to choose from; even the picky eaters have a lot of good items to choose from. Lots of variety; some staple items available every day but they switch it up, too. Love the view and the cold brew...ah! So good. We have been eating like kings and queens!“

“This is my absolute favorite restaurant on the island. We ordered the panko crusted ahi as an appetizer and it was perfect. We had various rolls and our service was great. The only thing I was surprised by was that my red wine was chilled, which was ok, but would have been better at a cool or room temp v fridge cold. Not a big deal. I hope this restaurant continues to thrive because its really so great. Recommend reservations but usually for a small group they can squeeze ppl in on not so busy nights.“
