View can’t be beat-waterfront in a quiet part of Lahaina. Service may be a bit slow but what’s the hurry in a place like this? Food was very good, price reasonable. Good selection of breakfast foods plus full bar. We would go there again.
Happy volcano breakfast Which was a lot of food. It's reasonably priced and a quiet and cozy location. Below off beat road in shopping location.
Just visited yesterday and discovered Lahaina Luna Cafe has closed permanently as of Aug 30 2019. A handwritten sign says they are working on a “new concept.” Anyone know what happened?
Some of the best fish tacos I had on the island, and the Korean beef tacos were delicious as well. The very reasonable prices were also refreshing.
I was very skeptical to try a local place being a vegetarian. But to my surprise the place was by far the best place for vegetarian salad. On top of it by my mistake I ordered something wrong but they were so accommodating to replace it completely rather than adding more ingredients. Love this place
This business closed temporarily on 8/30/19. Sign says they will reopen in 45-60 days from that date with a new food concept.
Food was pretty good but took forever. Also I saw one of the ladies helping cook touch her face and eat in the kitchen with her gloves on then not change her gloves. As a restaurant manager this horrified me. I literally watched her put her hands in her mouth and wipe sweat from her face then touch food. Gross!
Food is awesome, the chicken bites are wonderful. Friendly staff and a nice sitting area to people watch and catch the sunset. Reasonable prices for this area too!
Fish taco and korean bbq plate were amazing!
Decent food but a little pricey. Good portions for sure! We really liked the garlic fries ( as the aioli was on the fries so the garlic sticks to the fries.) We also liked the crazy fries too! Husband had the teriyaki burger and I had the chicken katsu.... Mac salad was decent! They also refill the water bottles we purchased from them.

Lahainaluna is where I kept coming back to try the many wonderful Hawaiian cuisine offerings - fresh, not heavy, no funky ingredients, tasty, simple and filling. I tried other places but here is where I will come every time I visit Maui (Universe are you listening?please) and keep trying their yummy food. Staff is very friendly and you can take your food and stroll down the beach and feel true happiness
great food, best snow cone next door
My husband and I just flew in to Maui and we found this place within walking distance from our Airbnb. It was AMAZING! The fish tacos were the best I’ve ever had, and the staff is super friendly. We will definitely be returning!
This is a solid place for lunch while you're in this part of Maui. It's in a pretty touristy area, but the prices here are pretty reasonable. I really liked the Teriyaki Chicken Bites and the Onion Straws. However, the fish in the fish and chips had a funky flavor to it that was not pleasant. Service was quick and friendly.
All the food was great. We had BBQ pulled pork, and a grilled chicken sandwich. I was a little disappointed in the amount of Cole slaw,m given with the pulled pork sandwich, but it was good none the less.
