We've been visiting Leilani's for over 30 years and it used to be one of our very favorites. As we've experienced other west Maui restaurants we find ourselves visiting the upstairs restaurant less and less frequently. The service is consistently "just ok". The food is good, but not great, but the prices are very reasonable for what you get (for Maui). It's always noisy, which is a function of how many people are in the restaurant. If you are in the front two rows of the restaurant you have nice views. Hula pie is always great. The downstairs beach bar is still great. Great fish tacos and good drinks.

Took almost 5mins to get our food and it all came out like warm like it was sitting under a heat lamp. The ribs were fall off the bone great! But the chicken was dry and on the colder side, the waiter had to bring out another order of fries because they came out cold.

Amazing Meal and View! From our waitress Maggie to the food everything was impeccable. The prime rib is the best we've ever had and the Mahi Mahi was delicious. We sat in the beach side section and the view was beautiful.

Wow. Excellent food, prices, service. It has it all. Highly recommend. We've been coming to Maui for years. This is only our second time eating hear. Last year and this year. We will eat here once or twice from now on during our two week stay.

Leilani has amazing views and the food was yummy! The only negative is we had to wait a half hour past our reservation time to be seated and the service was quite slow. We do enjoy a leisurely dinner, however, two hours is a little too long.

We were never disappointed Near the entrance an older couple celebrating 50 years of marriage were selling fresh leis Handmade and beautiful . Our servers were always attentive and never failed to look after us. We had the fresh fish special several times and it was great However I did order the prime rib once and it was huge and tasty Overall a great experience

We were seated 15 minutes late for our reservation. The service was efficient, but not very personalized. The food was good, including the Maui salad and the coconut shrimp. Prices were quite high and the music, loud.

The fish was well prepared and seasoned. It had a nice sweet fruity drizzle around it. The green beans were too al dente as were the tiny baked potato accompaniments.

This is a nice, casual place in Whalers Village. They have a nice bar and a nice open seating area. The waiters and waitresses are good. The website was down when we got there, but the manager let the hostesses know they had 6 tables available to seat guests and they did so quickly. Way to be flexible and get people a table. The food was really good and the Hula Girl Pie was so good. You must try one if you haven't.

Good: Nice location looking out at water, service attentive, pleasant live music and good drinks. Bad: quite expensive, gave a pitiful amount of fries, flavour of Sloppy Ozzy kalua pork burger quite disgusting, cheeseburger meat tasteless. With so many other places to choose from, consider spending your dollars elsewhere, we won’t be returning.
