We were staying at the Westin and were looking for a special dinner spot for our anniversary. It felt a little anticlimactic to just go downstairs for our celebration dinner, but we decided to go anyway based on the reviews. So glad we did! We went right after sunset and watched the clouds change colors as we ate. The service was outstanding and the food was delicious!! It also felt reasonably priced compared to other nice restaurants around. The view was beautiful as well. I would highly recommend this for a fun or nice dinner out!

We were so glad to learn this restaurant was open for dinner. The dinner for all 6 of us was delicious, staff was attentive but not overbearing. So nice to not have to leave the property for a lovely meal. Mahalo!

This was by far the most delcious meal on Maui for our trip. Ironic, as it's at our time share at the Westin. The service is excellent and the setting is gorgeous at sunset. I had the chicken potsitckers and the scallop rissotto-both were so delicious. I highly recommend this spot.
Two of us ordered the catch of the day...mistake...very dry and no flavor. Chicken was okay, wouldn't order again. I ordered salad and they brought chicken rather than the shrimp I had asked for. They did correct.

We're experienced Maui travelers and know nearly every restaurant on the Island. Maura Makai is located in Westin's Nanea that is a resort near the Westin Kaanapali Villas. It's has an ocean view, great ambience, and excellent service. I recommend the cocunut shrimp (5) pcs and the curry was very good. I had the seafood market special that was marlin. I would say this restaurant offers great food and value. I would highly recommend!

Food here is mediocre at best, suggest if you're able to go to Duke's next door. This was poor value, food tasted like it was cooked in a microwave. Wouldn't recommend. For the price, food was very bad. Service was good, but can't make up for crappy food.
