This was by far the most delcious meal on Maui for our trip. Ironic, as it's at our time share at the Westin. The service is excellent and the setting is gorgeous at sunset. I had the chicken potsitckers and the scallop rissotto-both were so delicious. I highly recommend this spot.

Two of us ordered the catch of the day...mistake...very dry and no flavor. Chicken was okay, wouldn't order again. I ordered salad and they brought chicken rather than the shrimp I had asked for. They did correct.

We're experienced Maui travelers and know nearly every restaurant on the Island. Maura Makai is located in Westin's Nanea that is a resort near the Westin Kaanapali Villas. It's has an ocean view, great ambience, and excellent service. I recommend the cocunut shrimp (5) pcs and the curry was very good. I had the seafood market special that was marlin. I would say this restaurant offers great food and value. I would highly recommend!

Food here is mediocre at best, suggest if you're able to go to Duke's next door. This was poor value, food tasted like it was cooked in a microwave. Wouldn't recommend. For the price, food was very bad. Service was good, but can't make up for crappy food.

Had dinner there since we were staying at Nanea and saw poster that they had prime rib special that evening.
Setting was beautiful and service warm and friendly. Food was pretty good. Some of the vegetables seemed old and therefore chewy. Overall it was an enjoyable meal.

It was my son’s birthday and our last night in Hawaii. So I wanted the night to be special and it wasn’t. First of all they sat us near the live Music so the people sitting near it couldn’t hear any of the conversation. The drinks were fine. The appetizers were very good, coconut fried shrimp and the pot stickers. Then they served my one grandson his meal when no one else got there’s until after the appetizers. The meals were ok but not great. The seared tuna was not seared and extremely spicy. My son’s curry was half cooked rice and mushy vegetables. It was very expensive for an ok meal.

Our waiter was good. He checked in periodically. The food was fine, but I will not be going be back. My rice was unevenly cooked and my vegetables were over cooked.
Mediocre at best. If you are looking for a place to enjoy a great dinner, this is NOT the place. SafLve yourself the hassle and pick another place. I don't understand how this place has a 4 out of 5 review. My 2 out of 5 is generous.

It was prime rib night, they ran out and we were 1 of the 1st 10 guests. We had to eat what we were given, and it was not what we ordered. It was my friends birthday but our meals were served and eaten separately. The manager comped us the meal. But it was as certainly a memorable birthday for my friend. The waiter had a complete disinterest in the guests, like he was having a bad day and should have called in sick. It's like he was spending our money in his head before we spent our money on our dinner. Everyone but him were exceptional in service and personality
