This is a lovely restaurant with great food and attentive, knowledgeable wait staff. We got to sit right on the beach side, so views were fabulous. Drinks are. Yummy. Spendy, but where isn't it on Maui? You won't be sad you gave it a try.
Our experience would be better if we had a more attentive server. Kaitlyn did not check in on us at all after serving our food. My wife was feeling sick and as a result did not touch her food. Being in the service industry, we'd expect she'd check in to see if we needed anything but she didn't check in again until the end. We were unattended for almost an hour. I had finished my Mai Tai early and was debating on getting a second drink but wasn't given the option...
I wish I remembered the name of our server as he was brilliant, friendly, knowledgeable & really helpful. The atmosphere is great. The food was ok, the shrimp was quite overcooked & so was the fish of the fish & chips which surprised me, I thought the seafood would be perfect but it didn't really spoil the evening, it's just an observation as it wasn't bad enough to send back. Definitely worth visiting.
