Wasn't expecting to get Mexican food in Maui and I needed up finding the Best Birria tacos I've ever had. Quesabirria tacos are great and the consome tops it off perfectly. Not a lot of places to sit, but I'd eat these off of the ground if I had to. The owners are really friendly and the food comes out quick. A great stop right when you land at the airport at the food round up by costco.

This is a very late post. I've eaten at this place a few times within the past few months and my favorite dish is the ocean burrito with either the fish or shrimp. I had them both. The combination of flavors with the fresh lime and cilantro is amazing! My coworkers love the birria tacos and that's with any protein of your choice. They claimed this is the best place for birria tacos on Maui by far! The staff is always very friendly and welcoming. If you love fish or shrimp burritos or birria tacos I highly suggest trying this little quaint food truck tucked in the corner near the Courtyard Marriott by the airport.

My first taste of Hawaii and I was not disappointed!!! We ordered the island soft tacos, 2 chorizo & 2 birria. They came with sides of sauce, which only elevated the flavors. The portion size was perfect. 2/3 tacos is a solid meal, but we did 1 each and tried food from the other trucks in the area! There are a few picnic benches in the area, so you can stay and enjoy the meal, surrounded by wild chicken :) The only watchout... you'll be sitting unbothered till you bring your food around. The flies will pounce as soon as they get a waft. It's a bit annoying, so maybe come prepared with some bug spray!

I am so happy I ventured out from my hotel to try out this food truck! I told the friendly woman at the window that I wanted to try a taco and asked what she recommended. She suggested the Birria beef and the crispy shell, which is one of their quesotacos. As a California girl, I admit I was a little worried I'd regret something that might be too greasy or overloaded with cheese. But I paid my $5 dollars and waited for my order. When it was ready she gave me a choice of salsa and when I couldn't decide she offered me one of each: spicy red and mild green salsas. It took a few minutes but it was so worth the wait!The freshly made taco was perfectly crispy with a delicious beef and perfectly melted, gooey cheese. From the first bite I was in love! It came with diced onion and cilantro, as well as sliced radish, a lime wedge some pickled jalapeños and carrots--all very fresh and delicious. I wanted a second taco immediately! I will definitely be coming back for more. I highly recommend this truck!

they were out of consommé for the birria tacos, but perfectly made and fried and tasty just like mainland. perfect stop for lunch then Costco when you arrive Kahului.

All I can say is this place sells the best Birria Tacos I ever had. This taco Food Truck is located by the Kahului Marriot which is located across of Costco. Everytime I call (which is quite frequent for me) I speak to a friendly young gal on the telephone. She tells me how long it will be and the most important question is "would you want the tacos crispy or soft", and of course I choose crispy. The only way to go. You may choose to Sit at there table which is under a tent or you may choose to go. It's totally up to you. The ambiance is hmmm it's a food truck! So it's pretty neat. I always say to myself I will try something different the next time I'm here but I don't I ashtrays get these Birria Tacos because that's how good it is. But maybe sometime this week I'll try something different hehe! Also if you call your order in it usually takes about 15-20 minutes. Make sure you try some of this delicious food! I'm sure glad that I did.

Literally a "RIP OFF". We got to the window and had ordered 2 orders of their Birria Queso Tacos w/ consome (4 tacos total) and another order of just 2 birria tacos, plus a side of guacamole along with 3 sodas and my total was $53.00 MIND YOU, we never got the 2nd order of Birria Queso Tacos w/ consome when they called my order, NO guacamole and didn't even apologize. When I asked where my other order was they said I only ordered 1 ORDER @ $5.50 and my 2 tacos at $10 and 3 sodas at $3.65 each my total should have been $26.45 how the heck they rip me off $53.00 and NOT give me my food. Unprofessional and a rip off. Never again, you can go to Fernandos and get a whole Queso Birria plate with rice and beans with all the sides for $19.99. This portion was literally 2 tacos, consome and 2 carrots and 2 raddish slices. Not even a real meal. Save your money and go else where.

One great thing about this is that the service is in bilingual so you can speak Spanish or English which is great. The food, although it may be on the price here side, it is well worth the quantity and quality of the food. The meats are juicy and savory with a right amount of spice if you wish. They do have a variety of drinks and it does make you feel homesick if you're away from the mainland. Highly recommend this place. It was great. They also have a nice tent outside where you can share a table with others if their space, but the ambiance in the background is pretty cool too
I will spend my last dollar here their tacos are that good! The Quesa Birria is my favorite!

Really good Mexican food at the Kahului food truck court. Previously, I tried the crunchy tacos which were to die for, and this time the pork burrito was big enough to split. But it wouldn't have been hard to eat it all because it was very good. I like that they have a picnic table right next to the food truck which makes it convenient to stay. Parking can sometimes be tricky when they're busy here, but it looks like there will be more parking coming soon next-door. I got the spicy salsa and it was indeed spicy, but bearable and worthwhile getting. It was a pleasure to stop here and grab a quick lunch.
