The ambience was great. The service was okay. But on food side we ordered the burger which was really good including the fries but the quantity was less for the price. We also ordered vegetarian pasta which was very bland. Mai tai was awesome !!
Tried the wings, mushroom flatbread and the hurricane fries.
Wings and flatbread were pretty average, but we really liked the hurricane fries. We never had to wait for a table, and it was very conveniently located.
The service was consistently great. Food arrived quickly and hot, and waters were consistently being refilled.
As soon as we got close to the bottom of our beers/mixed drinks, we were asked if we wanted another.

I recently visited Umalu, and I was beyond impressed — especially as someone who follows a plant-based diet. It’s not always easy to find restaurants that offer more than just one token vegan dish, but this place absolutely delivered!
The vegan options were plentiful, creative, and delicious.
If you’re vegan, vegetarian, or just looking to try something new and healthy without sacrificing flavor, Umalu is a must-visit.
