Ahi Katsu is a 10 out of 10 must have

Stopped off at this place as my friend said they have awesome plates and fresh fish. Ordered the ono katsu plate, spicy ahi poke and macadamia cookies. Good portion size, delicious salad with dressing. Poke is fresh never frozen, delicious and good value. Cookies are delicious also. Coming here for lunch made my weekend.

So good. My only regret is not going there earlier in the week so I could have grilled up some fish or even just make Poke Bowls!

You cant go wrong with this little dive. Fresh fish caught hours before, and the preperation is fantastic. Bout ~$15 for most things. Wife says the shrimp tempura filled a hole in her heart she didnt know was there!

TLDR: fish was fresh but flavor was lacking

I ordered the poke bowl with soy sauce and sesame ahi. Honestly the fish was great but the seasoning was so lacking, it was like I got plain tuna and put soy sauce on it myself. The lack of flavor to me means they didn’t marinate for very long.

Fresh fish! Super friendly service with a smile. The tempura shrimp is delicious

This is the place to buy fresh fish on the North Shore. Great price and incredibly fresh!

Best fish I’ve eaten. I visit the North Shore a couple weeks a year. I get meals there everyday I’m here and he’s open. You can’t beat the fresh quality and reasonable price. 💕🐟

Ahi Katsu is heavenly. I’ve never had fish katsu before and this blew it out of the water. It’s a must try, prices are reasonable - get there at opening, place lines up and takes some time to get your order. Outstanding!!

Yummy food, took some poke to go, was quick. Make sure to check the hours.

Amazing fish tacos..

Delicious coconut shrimp. I wished I had been able to cook where I was staying, they have great looking fish at very good prices. No restroom, no dining indoors. Expect to bring your food somewhere nearby, and maybe pee first!

Always fresh, always premium cuts

Sorry, but they need work on being there regularly. We never know when they're open for business. Sometimes when we have the ono for ahi katsu and we go there, only to find it's not open. Ugh! Their ahi katsu is great, but I enjoyed it more years ago when they 1st started out from their garage.

The best ahi Katsu in Oahu. Local and fresh.
