L&L Hawaiian Barbecue

Came by while visiting Honolulu for a few days. Tried the bbq trio and it was great. It came with bbq chicken, beef teriyaki and beef short ribs. The portion size was enough for two ppl easily. Definitely worth a visit if you are looking for a local fav- 20 ppl ordered food while we sat and ate ours.

The food was great and not too expensive compared to similar places on the island. It’s not a great place to stay and eat. We took it to go. My food was really good and there was enough for two meals in my container. I’m glad I tried it.

Classic Hawaiian BBQ spot! Really nailed the traditional short ribs, teriyaki beef, mac salad, fried shrimp. All the hits. If you like Hawaiian BBQ you will like this spot. Its in a nice little center near a super market, public restrooms and indoor and outdoor seating.

we had a family trip and had to get meals for 10 and this spot hooked it up quick and being from the mainland I was very familiar with l&l but this time it was above and beyond good

Third time I’ve tried l&l in Laie in 9 years and every time I’ve gotten sick. Clean the damn kitchen and stop serving poorly made food

Went here numerous times during my Hawaii stay. Food was always hot, fresh, and quick. Great portion size, and phenomenal taste.

Staff was fast and friendly. Unfortunately the food is terrible. Wife ate a piece of fish from the seafood combo and that’s all she could get down before feeling nauseous. She was sick for 2 days afterwards. The deluxe burger I got had no flavor and fries were mushy and bland. There’s so many good spots in Hawaii to try and this is one to avoid at all costs.
