While the view at Duke's Kauai is lovely the rest is tired and uninspiring. There is free valet parking but you'd need to know how to access it as it's not well marked. When we got back to get our car there was a sign sending us way back to the bar to get our keys since the valet service was shut down apparently (this was 12:30pm). Our server should have alerted us to this. Duke's needs an update on both its ambiance and food. We were towards the end of Sunday...

Coming here for you and the menu has never changed. Especially frustrating for those of us who are gluten-free that there is only one entrée choice. But the hula pie makes up for the shortcomings on the entrée items.!

The service was great and it looks amazing. The appetizers were good, my husbands dinner was good. Salad bar was gross and 2 different items tasted rancid. And the pie was great. I would either redo the salad bad or get rid of it. The service was so great hate to leave a bad review, but who ever is in charge of the salad bar is not paying attention. The salad bar in Oahu was amazing.
