Ordered two Mai Tais that were insane expensive - but there was no booze! I rarely drink but decided to splurge while on vacay, drank a Duke's mai tai and felt nothing, so ordered another, and still nothing. The next day on the flight home I ordered a little airline can of red wine - I felt that!
That's stealing from me. I paid for the alcohol and the bartender didn't put any in.
Very disappointing brunch. I wish I read more of the negative reviews. If you're looking for a great breakfast, try Kiwae Roots or Puakea Grill. I've had a better continental breakfast @ Motel 6

The atmosphere is beautiful with that laid back island feeling, offering amazing aloha vibes and live Hawaiian music. The service is friendly and fast, with a server who was incredibly helpful about gluten free options. Food is delicious, fresh and tasty, with huge quantities. A specific recommendation is to get the Hula Pie. However, some reviews note the restaurant is a bit pricey, and for one experience, the fish tacos were not good and very bland. Service can be slow at times, with a 15-minute wait to be acknowledged and orders being mixed up. Bar seating is first come, first serve and recommended for those alone or with a friend. The restaurant looks out on a nice, busy beach and is easy to get a table on a weekday.
