My dinner was great. Both the French onion soup and the shrimp and pasta were delicious. My husband ordered scallops to start which were tender and so good. Then his steak (the Wagyu) came out. It was grizzled and tough. $165 piece of meat... so so disappointing and just not right. He NEVER sends food back or complains (and gets upset when I do) so there's that. It was our anniversary, 40 years, and I had high hopes for a great evening. The view was spectacular and service was very good but when paying that kind of of money you expect to be wowed. Oh well...

Our server Chelsey provided excellent suggestions about the menu and great service. The potstickers are a must as are the sticky ribs. All fish dishes were prepared to order. Only reason this isn't a 5 star is we were seated in an artificial lit back room that was cold and had no view. I had requested a different table when I booked 2 months ago.

We travel to the islands every year, and each year we do one over the top romantic dinner. Maui, go to Mama's fish house, big island, go to Ulu. Kauai, you must try Hualanis! I had one of the most perfectly cooked high end rib eye of my life, and it was surpassed by my wife's seabass, which is hands down the best fish we have ever eaten! Service was spectacular and the view and setting were perfect! You will not go wrong on date night here!

Exceptional and attentive service, amazing views, and great food from apps to dessert. Venture off and take a drive for a great meal with best service in Kauai.
