It seems they taken their own liberty to create their own Katsu sauce. is not the original L&L katsu sauce. Also ordered a regular plate and they tried to only give me one sauce when usually you get two with the regular plate. the sauce containers are a lot smaller as well than the usual L&L sauce containers. The chicken and rice were really good.

Kukui Grove, very disappointed, i come here to order the roast pork which is usually very good. last night it was dried out and crispy like bacon. It must have been sitting out for a long long time. they must have known this when cutting the meat. do the right thing an just toss out old meat and serve fresh. very hard to communicate with the cashier.

I got the BBQ mix plate for takeout and was really impressed with the portion size. It came with short ribs, steak, chicken, rice, and mac salad. Everything was flavorful and cooked well. The short ribs were especially good. Definitely a generous plate that left me full and satisfied. Service was fast and friendly. Overall, a great value and a tasty meal. I’ll definitely come back again.

Swung in to grab some musubi to go after a terrible experience in a nearby restaurant.
This spot had cockroaches on the floor of the dining room, zero engagement from the staff while you ordered and paid. Maybe they were sick? Idk. After waiting almost 10 minutes, (and noticing the wild life), I cut my losses and just left without even getting any food. Seemed like it would be safer that way anyways.
Do yourself a favor and don’t even go into this little mall.

Bbq Chicken tasted good. Service bad. They won't serve tap water, wanting you to spend $2 on bottled water. Teriyaki sauce is 50 cents extra. Stingy place.

I visited L&L Hawaiian Barbecue, and my experience was very disappointing. The staff member who served us was extremely rude, abrupt, and unwelcoming. Her inhospitable behavior left a very negative impression, and we will not be returning to this location. I would not recommend this place to anyone

I will start this by saying we did go in 30 minutes before they closed so I do feel bad about that but they seemed super mad at me and my friend and the food was eh I got chicken katsu in noodle broth but it was already pretty soggy that may be my bad though. If I go at a different time of day and it's different I'll update this
