Mrs. Oki herself took our order, after recommending some tasty local options. She was very friendly and welcoming! The food was delicious! She even gave us tips on where to see sea turtles 😀
Barbara Oki really does make the best local Hawaiian food out there. I stopped here after a hike with a ravishing hunger and was delighted to have one of the best meals of my life. I had the Neals chicken and it was delicious. The owner is also such a delight to talk to and has wonderful local advice. If you don’t go to this place, you are missing out.
This was one of the last places we ate on our trip, and one of the best places we ate. I had pork Lau lau, which i had elsewhere and did not like it. But here it was exactly what people described when they rave about it. Everything was good here and Oki definitely has personality. Local or traveler, I recommend it!
