I came to Kauai for my birthday and my sweet fiancé ordered a cake from the bakery for me. The person he worked with asked multiple times how to spell my name and even mentioned it would be the worst thing if my name was spelled wrong. We were staying in the north shore and he had a delivery service bring the cake to our rental house. They spelled my name completely wrong. For reference, my name is “Cynclaire” and the cake said “Cyndlaite.” My fiancé called and gave the business a chance to make it right, and they said the manager would call him back and never did. Cake was both beautiful and delicious, but disappointed they couldn’t address their mistake.

The people behind the counter have been super welcoming each time I come in. I ran into one of the bakers outside and had the same experience. Feels familial.
REAL FRENCH BAKERY.. Orly is a genius!! Quiche to die for! Wanted to try everything.. cheesecake, cinnamon rolls. Cookies were incredible! Tried Ham and cheese croissant.. absolute perfection! A must visit in Lihue! Every person who waited on us was incredibly kind! Will return upon every visit!!

The Ube Lilikoi cheesecake is one of the best desserts I have ever tasted. It is light, sweet and not rich. Already contemplating how I could possibly get it shipped to the mainland. No future trip to Kauai will ever skip on a stop to Orly Patisserie. We also got a large cookie and cream puffs which were equally amazing.

We ordered a wedding cake from here for our wedding. The gal working was really sweet when we asked if they had a sample of the lilikoi filling, and she gave us a lilikoi macaroon to try. We picked up the cake the day before, and it was beautiful. But, the taste and texture is a different story. The cake was a bit dry/grainy. And the outer frosting fell off in chunks directly after taking it out of the refrigerator. It tasted like a stick of butter and not much flavor. I wish I could rate it higher, because the gals were so incredibly nice. But for a simple vanilla, buttercream cake, and lilikoi frosting, I did have higher hopes.

wanted to make the stop as my name is also orli. we tried a few cakes, some cookies/macaroons and banana bread, everything was absolutely amazing!! had to make another stop before our trip was over because of how incredible it was :))) we will definitely be back on our next visit to the island!

We stopped by Orly Patisserie with our kids for a quick treat before catching a train ride at the Plantation House. We picked up some lilikoi puffs and a chocolate cookie, which were absolutely delicious—everyone in our family loved them! The staff went above and beyond by coming out to ask our kids what their favorite colors were. To our surprise and delight, he brought us complimentary macaroons in those colors! The hospitality here is amazing, and the treats are just as delightful. We had a wonderful experience and will definitely be back for more. Highly recommend!

Bruh, if you’re like me and wary of this place because it’s in a modern shopping center don’t be. The pineapple cream cheese danish is light and fluffy and very reasonably priced. Very solid stuff!
