Great authentic food in a casual setting.
They have quite a few bangers: the ginger chicken, the mochi flour pancakes, the stuffed French toast among many more

Very long wait for breakfast food, over an hour. Some food arrived cold and our order came piecemeal. Food wasn’t bad just not worth the very long wait.
Best locals grill in Lihue!

I stopped here for breakfast before my flight and it was delicious. My favorite was the corned beef hash patty. If you eat on the Lanai the views of the course and surrounding mountains are incredible.

Mac salad was tooo salty and had a weird taste 👎
Puakea Grill is where we go the most for breakfast on Kauai. It’s fantastic, fairly priced and consistent. Their breakfast burrito is probably my favorite on the island and the mochi waffle is amazing!

Clean, great service, but more importantly the breakfast was outstanding. Mochi waffles, Mochi pancakes, stuffed French toast, and the breakfast burrito with bacon were all fabulous. The bacon was cooked to perfection. Whatever sauce they put in the breakfast burrito made it outstanding. The coconut syrup was delicious.
It’s the golf course cafe and it is delicious. We didn’t golf. Came for breakfast and would definitely come back.

Went here for the gluten friendly Mochi pancakes…. I was in heaven!! They were so soft, chewy, and delicious! I was so happy to get to try them. We also tried the local Gotoberg meat side, which can only found in Kauai. It was some of the best breakfast meat I’ve ever tasted! Highly recommend for a delicious and laid back breakfast.

We were killing time before our flight to the mainland and stopped in for an early dinner. It is a modest diner located at a golf course. We were looking for fish tacos and had seen them reviewed at this place, but they were not on the menu. You order at the counter and they bring the food to your table. It was a Tuesday afternoon, only one other family dining. My wife got the hamburger and fries and I got the ahi poke bowl. My wife seemed to indicate that the burger was just OK, the fries were good, and my poke bowl was good. The young girl waiting on us was nice.

I came here on a Tuesday at lunchtime and they were pretty busy. They warned us that there would be a wait, and they were apologetic about it. The staff was very nice. The food was very good. I had the fresh caught fish tacos and they were delicious. Great quality fish! The prices on some of the specials were very reasonable. Overall, this was a great place for a casual lunch when you're not in a hurry.

Food was cold had things on plate that I didn't order. And got food a little over an 1 hour later after being seated. Great views, pack your patience cause your gonna need it. You order at the counter 1st and then wait an 1 hr before you get your food also just know nobody comes to check to see if your okay or if you enjoyed the food. Would not recommend unless you have lot's of time on your hand.
