Great place for lunch and good views. You can even play a round of golf if you want since it's on the course by the players club.

Awesome hidden gem at the golf course. If you go for breakfast, get there before 7am. Sometimes there's lines after 730am

Delicious food! We had mini loco-moco and “special” mochi waffles with chicken. Everything tastes top-notch! I was especially impressed with the service! Two girls handled a full house of customers: taking orders, bringing food, cleaning tables, bringing drinks and coffee refills - and we did not feel likewe were waiting too long for anything! 5 stars for the ladies of the cafe!!!!

We always enjoy our meals here. Simple and nice vibe. The prices are a bit high, but for a meal every now and then it's worth it. Be prepared to wait a bit for your food as they are not a fast food restaurant.

Very casual restaurant on the grounds of the Pukea Golf Course. Seems like most of the clients were there to eat and not to golf. We ordered food while golfing although there are no posted signs or menus on the golf course. The veggie breakfast burrito we ordered was singularly THE BEST breakfast burrito I've EVER eaten. It was huge and was filled with fresh eggs, potatoes, spinach, cheese, mushrooms, garlic, and avocado ( extra charge). Every bite was amazing. Service was a little tricky as I did not see a pickup window for golfers. Had to get in line behind customers that had not ordered even though I could see my order sitting in a bag on the counter. Probably a 10 minute wait which can be a problem if your golfing and there are groups behind you. People working in restaurant were very nice. Ample parking in front of restaurant. Hawaiian style food looked good enough to try even if you just want to dine and not golf.

This place is one beautiful Gem! Set between the golf course and its parking lot so there's plenty of parking. They also have a ramp to accommodate people like myself who have difficulty climbing stairs! Their staff is amazing and helpful. Their food is so delicious that when you're done eating you're already thinking of coming back again!

Located on the grounds of Puakea Golf course selection serving breakfast, Lunch and pupus and drink specials! Went there for breakfast and tried the Loco moco which was terrific homemade hamburger patties, eggs and brown gravy over on rice it really hits the spot. My wife had the stuffed blueberry French toast and she also enjoyed her choice lots of blueberry and the French toast was moist and tasty and they had choices of syrups which she tried the coconut syrup which was very tasty. The fried Saimin noodle brought back fond memories of the olden days going to the Bon dance which was excellent if flavor and texture. The fried boneless chicken was also outstanding which they must have soaked In a special teriyaki sauce before breading and frying it. It also exceptional great for parties or taking to the beach on picnics. Also if you want a special gift to bring back from Kauai or just for your breakfast toast the sell a lilikoi jam that is also very good but from what I've heard it runs out fast. The staff there are friendly and nice! Restroom is clean you just have to go outside of the restaurant near by. Lots of parking spaces. If you are on the island of Kauai a place you can't miss.

Local food with plenty Aloha! The young chef and owner makes excellent food, keeping her cooking simple using fresh local ingredients. One experiences Hawaii at the Puakea Grill. Omelettes, fried chicken, fried rice are delicious. Corn beef hash patty is the best I have ever eaten. The location at the Puakea Golf Course is lovely. Food is made fresh, served quickly, and always with a smile!

Our first visit, we ordered the Hawaiian Combo (Kalua Pork, Lomi Lomi and Poke), Loco Moco, Kimchee Fried Rice and the Mochi Pancakes and Stuffed French toast. The Kalua Pork was tasty, but could have had a bit smokier flavor for my taste. The Loco Moco was served with a generous portion of gravy. We know gravy is what makes this dish onolicious. The Mochi Pancakes were fluffy with the perfect amount of chewiness. However, the "Stuffed" French Toast was a disappointment. The "Stuffed" French Toast was 2 slices of regular plain French Toast . Is that because we did not order the extra fruit for an additional $2? Not sure why this entree is called "Stuffed French Toast". My friend enjoyed his Kimchi Fried Rice...just not something that interests me. Wait time for our food was 30 minutes. We decided to give Puakea Grill a second shot. This time we ordered Saimin, Puakea Fried Noodles, Mochi Pancakes and Fried Chicken. Saimin and Fried Noodles were flavorful. Fried Noodles had assorted meats. (Lup Cheong, Spam, Bacon, Char Siu) The Ginger Fried Chicken was crispy and not greasy. 3 pieces of boneless dark meat served with mac salad and rice. Wait time for food was 1 hour. Not sure why such long wait times. Is there 1 cook cooking 1 dish at a time? As I mentioned, my biggest complaint is the length of time it takes for our food to be prepared. In fairness, the cashier/server did advise us on the wait time prior to placing our order. Although the food is good...I'm not sure it's worth the wait time.
