Dessert Restaurants near Makawao, HI

“I have had several opportunities to eat these unique and delicious cookies. I was attending a wedding and they were part of the dessert table. Then I received a batch as a gift. I plan to buy several gift cards to pass on to family and friends so they can also try this delicious treat“

“10/10 highly recommend!! James has great options of both flavors or if you prefer shaved fruit which happens to be our FAVORITE! The service and quality are second to none. This has become a nightly tradition when we’re visiting! Go check them out!“

“I was told to try this place by a friend from the area and I’m glad I did! I got the “Lahaina” (pineapple, coconut, and banana) with vanilla ice cream on the bottom and the “snow cap” (sweetened condensed milk mixture) on top. It was amazing! The line was pretty long so there was definitely a wait, but it was worth it!“

“Not only is the shaved ice absolutely amazing, but the staff (Evyn) is the BEST!!! So knowledgeable and amazingly friendly!!! MAHALO!“

“Not only was Da Sweet Spot EASILY the best shave ice I had on my trip to Maui, it was BY FAR the best shave ice I had on any of the islands during my trip (Maui, Oahu, Big Island and Kauai) and one of the best desserts I've ever had in my life. This shave ice was EXQUISITE!! Mahalo!!“

“I came here a few times during my first trip to Hawai'i. Wonderful little shaved ice shop with great, delicious choices at a good price and friendly workers. There was a wait which is understandable with 2-ish people working at a busy time of day but even then the wait was never too long.“

“Great Shave Ice and Ice Cream. Great service with an amazing staff.“

“very good. would recommend“

“We got iced coffee, tropical shaved ice, poke, nachos, and the banana bread dessert (heavenly). Dessert was to die for. Everything was delicious.“
