The owner/ bartender is amazing, with wonderful mixology skills! I loved every drink she made me. This restaurant is now called The Lanai. Food can be hit or miss. I’ve been to Kahuna Lanai a couple of times since the management change, and unfortunately, both visits left me disappointed. The new menu just isn’t up to the standard it used to be. Not only have prices gone up, but the quality of the food doesn’t justify the cost. The flavors are lacking, and the portions don’t seem as generous as they were before. The food at Kahuna Sports Bar and Grill was good, and the inside dining area was clean. However, the Lani wasn’t as clean as I would have liked, and the bathroom had some serious issues.
As my photos show, the AC vent was caked with lint, indicating a long-overdue deep cleaning. Lint scattered on the floor further highlighted their lack of attention to cleanliness.
