Food was good. I came here with my family. The bartender was nice and we got good food. I liked mine and my father said it was one of the better burgers he had. Not gourmet but if you’re on base it’s a good option.
The owner/ bartender is amazing, with wonderful mixology skills! I loved every drink she made me. This restaurant is now called The Lanai. Food can be hit or miss. The salads are great and so are the burgers. Although one burger I got had onions that were completely charred rather than caramelized. The mac salad was a bit bland. I’ve been to Kahuna Lanai a couple of times since the management change, and unfortunately, both visits left me disappointed. The new menu just isn’t up to the standard it used to be. Not only have prices gone up, but the quality of the food doesn’t justify the cost. The flavors are lacking, and the portions don’t seem as generous as they were before.
