Maile | Chinese Restaurant is a neighborhood gem in Mililani, offering old school Chinese cuisine with a lot of Cantonese dishes. The food is really delicious and often turns out better than expected. The flavors are spot on, and everything comes out hot and fresh. The menu includes many usual dishes, with specific meals like honey walnut shrimp, beef broccoli, lemon chicken, asparagus with beef, shrimp with snap peas, shrimp/egg frying, Fried rice special, minute chicken cake noodle, house special cake noodle, walnut shrimp, pan-fried pork, beef chow fun with black bean gravy, roast pork, crispy gau gee mein, and pot roast pork. Service is fast, friendly, and the ambiance is mellow, though it can get very busy. The hot tea served alongside the meal is a nice touch. Prices have risen recently, but the restaurant remains one of the more affordable Chinese spots on the island. Grandny who served might be slow but does a great job. A 10/10 experience.
