Five stars for being here in our community for so long. I confirmed that they are beyond closed due to COVID-19 downturn as a letter to their customers was posted in their gutted store front. "They could not [probably afford to] renew their lease" so they are out of business. Mililani Town Center really needs to work on incentivizing and accommodating more small businesses to keep our community retailers and restaurants alive. I grew up in Mililani and have been coming here for well over a decade. Ownership has changed over the years, but my favorite dish has remained exactly the same: the chicken teriyaki. I will always order that, or the combo with mixed tempura if I also want to have something else, because for some reason I am addicted to the teriyaki sauce. It's so tasty. It was Valentine's Day and a Friday night so the Mililani Town Center was busy. Maru-Hi has this great little takeout window so I figured I would hit them up for dinner. I've never had a bad meal from there and this was no exception. The sashimi Cupbop is delicious and filling for a reasonable price. Grab something from the takeout window, get a seat outside at one of the many tables in the Town Center, and people watch while you enjoy your meal.
