During a recent business trip to Hilo, I was referred to the Hilo Coffee Mill for its excellent coffee, particularly the Ka'U blend. When I searched for it on Google Maps, it informed me that the place might be closed. So, I decided to call and confirm. Fortunately, a very nice woman answered the phone and told me that they, in fact, were closed for the day and that she was just there to do some 'paperwork.' This place is absolutely beautiful ! The coffee they produce here is top tier . We had to get a few bags to bring back home. The staff is super friendly and helpful - and don’t forget to get a cup of joe on your way out. Best coffee in Hilo ! Will be back.
I wouldn't go super far out of the way to come here, but if you're driving around this area then it's completely worth it. Very quick detour, and they have lots of different coffees out that you can taste for free. I liked them all, and it's fun to taste the differences side by side.
