Such a hidden gem! This small, cute food truck on a golf course is run by the friendliest ladies. We tried the avocado curry with shrimp (my first time having it and it was so good), chicken fried rice, and spring rolls.. everything was full of flavor. The Thai iced tea was delicious too! There’s a shaded tent right next to the truck where you can sit and enjoy your meal. Portions were generous, we even had to take some back to the hotel. Truly not just “good for a food truck”...
I was so excited to try Green Papaya Salad for the first time! It is a local favorite food on Big Island and I wanted to make sure I got it from a place that served a truly authentic version. Tuk Tuk has been in Volcano for a long time and consistently receives the highest ratings. Cut to the chase - I LOVED IT! You can read Any of the reviews & know this place is worth a visit. Anticipate spending $30+, because you're gonna wanna get multiple things, for sure. But it'll be worth it. Their entire menu is amazing, and though making a choice was hard, everything I got was Delicious. Spring rolls with peanut sauce, Tom Kah with shrimp, Pad Tai with Chicken, & the pineapple curry- 🤌 Large portions. High quality. Feel good food.
