We celebrated my dad's birthday with a magical festive dinner that exceeded expectations. Imagine dining al fresco on a tranquil hilltop with stunning views, enjoying live music. It was like having our own private chef. The curated prix fixe meal featured perfectly cooked filet mignon, succulent lobster tail, and a divine dessert they called "super panna cotta." Kevin, our host and chef, was incredibly friendly and hospitable. It's clear that Kevin and Esther have poured their hearts into Tai Shan Farms, creating a special, off-the-beaten-path culinary destination.

I feel extremely lucky to stumble by here while we drove by Ocean View neighborhood. It doesn’t matter what you order - everything is delicious because all dishes will be prepared with chef’s passion and care about good food. Kelvin is the hero behind the entire restaurant operation: owner, chef, farmer, server. I enjoyed very much listening to his story, the past, present and future of this restaurant. It’s a truly magical farm-to-table experience that I will for sure cherish, and I am sure this place will continue thriving.

After over two weeks across different Hawaiian islands this was definitely our favorite meal the entire trip. The food was absolutely fantastic and very reasonably priced. I think that this place is worth going to even if you were just staying in Kona. So beautiful and fantastic ambience. 100% gluten free!

Stumbling upon this place was the highlight of our island adventure! It was nearing dinner time, and as we searched for a spot to grab a bite, we found this gem on Google. What a lucky find!
Everything on the menu is gluten-free, which was a delightful surprise. The owner and chef, Kevin, greeted us warmly and shared that he crafts every dish gluten-free. For someone who eats gluten-free, this was music to my ears!
We ordered burgers, and they were nothing short of amazing. Juicy, flavorful, and perfectly paired with fries that hit the spot. Additionally, we couldn’t resist taking some baked goods for dessert—a brownie and a chocolate chip macadamia nut cookie. Both were heavenly and the perfect sweet ending to our meal.
Kevin's dedication to his craft shines through in every bite, and his personal touch adds a unique charm to the dining experience. We're already planning our next visit! If you're on the island, this is an absolute must-visit for gluten-free food lovers.

The location is gorgeous, with local produced food from the farm, the chef makes really great food! Many locals come here daily/weekly. It's open from 4-6PM, so be aware of it, but you are being treated on great food of a chef with a mission. Locally grown and produced food! (And gluten-free).

Love this hidden gem in Ocean View! Food is always fresh, mostly locally sourced. The weekly specials are a must to try, my favorite is the Mac and cheese with lobster so good!! If you're in south Kona check them out! beautiful location on a farm overlooking the ocean.

Magical night at Tai Shan farms. We thoroughly enjoyed a 4 course meal for date night Friday and to celebrate our engagement here on Hawaii. Amazing music, service, atmosphere and food! These are beautiful people. I have celiac disease and this experience gave me a sense of belonging. They deserve 10 stars! I highly recommend a visit here. Seriously, the best food on the Island.

What a gem! Cozy outdoor farm to table restaurant that overlooks their 5-acre dragonfruit farm. Enjoy the farm, ocean, and sunset views while you listen to live music and enjoy your cooked to order meal. Everything on the menu is delicious, and if you need gluten-free food, they've got you covered as the entire menu is gluten-free. You may need to wait for a table, it's worth it, or you can take your food to go. Remember to get dessert!
