What a gem! We were returning from the volcano, looking for a good restaurant & stumbled across Kai Loki’s. Great food, reasonable prices, affable waitstaff & overall good experience.
I got to meet the owners of this place and I gotta say, they are super cool people. Lots of aloha in the service and In the food. I’ll definitely be back. Mahalo for the memorable experience.
Best restaurant on the island!!! Amazing service, drinks and portion sizes were huge!!! They greeted us with the biggest aloha!

Despite being busy, the servers, including Kosmos, work hard to provide excellent, friendly service. Guests enjoy pupu, meals, and cocktails like the Kai Loki, Mai Tai, Margarita, and gin martini, along with several beers on tap and more in the bottle. It is an authentic Hawaiian roadside café that is not fancy, but offers simple local food with decent quality. Portions are large, prices are reasonable, and the food is fresh and tasty. The place is fun, friendly, and good, making it a great stop on the south side, especially for those heading to the beach.
