Average TexMex expectations taken to above-average executions. Fresh everything, generous portions, and exceptional service make this place stand out. Pricing is plenty fair for the location and quality. All the staff are super-kind, but Malia on bar/table service is a standout for her warmth and passion. She mixes some excellent drinks.

The staff were very nice and we were seated promptly though on a busy Sunday night where other restaurants had lines at the door, perhaps that was an indication not to eat here. We ordered the burrito bowl and chicken enchiladas and it came within minutes which might seem like great service but is likely indicative of food from Sysco just being reheated. This is what the food, unfortunately, tasted like, synthetic and inauthentic. Paying $80+ for food and drinks that taste as good as prepackaged food from the store doesn’t leave a good taste behind.

Very disappointing experience at Milagros. The food was bland and didn’t taste fresh—especially for a place that claims to serve Tex-Mex. Service was slow, we never got water refills, and the waiter was not friendly.
For the price, it’s just not worth it. I’m a local and won’t be back. Do yourself a favor and go across the street to Paia Fish Market or grab an açaí bowl next door—you’ll have a much better experience.

Had an absolutely excellent lunch here. Drinks were good and probably one of the best bacon cheese burgers I have had in awhile. Cooked perfectly. Ono sandwich was also amazing.

3 was only cause we sat out side and it was busy with cars. Super fast, friendly and amazing food! Great portion size :) we all ordered shrimp in all our food and it was amazing!

We walked from a distant parking area and were very hot and, upon arrival, were required to wait in the direct sun despite there being many open tables available. We were not permitted to sit and were told to wait 25 minutes. After walking in the heat and carrying several heavy bags, it was frustrating to stand in the direct sun looking at empty tables.
We appreciated the previous first-come, first-seated approach, which allowed guests to sit down at the next open table. That system felt more welcoming and accommodating.
Additionally, we requested chairs with backs due to a disabled member of our party who experiences discomfort using stools. Although there were two available tables with backed chairs, our request was denied and the waitress threatened to cancel our order and we were not allowed to sit there. This was confusing, especially given the visible availability.
Isn’t customer comfort and reasonable requests an important part of the dining experience? The overall situation felt unnecessarily rigid and, frankly, somewhat pretentious.
We truly enjoy your establishment and have had many positive experiences, which is why this change was disappointing. I hope this feedback is helpful as you evaluate your current policies.
