Ordered a Super Macho burrito and it was drowning in insipid sauce. The Asada meat 1/10 tasted like ground meat. The Salsa’s are extremely watered down. The churros have a weird after taste, I’m pretty sure they’re frozen and sprinkled with a bare amount of sugar. Overall very disappointing.

I’m not your usual Mexican food lover until I was introduced to birria taco at another nearby Mexican food place. No birria taco at Alejandro’s, so I went with the beef instead. They’re located in the Pearl City Shopping Center where Long’s is. Customer service is cordial.
I was surprised at how small their taco is! Ground beef topped with cilantros and onions wrapped in a soft corn shell. I ordered two and both were wrapped together in foil. I went back to double check that they gave me two. A hearty eater would likely need three or maybe four. Comes with a green (mild) or their hot salsa sauce. I drenched the taco with the green sauce hoping to liven up the taste. It wasn’t bad but definitely not outstanding.
I’ve gone back a few more times while in the area. I now know what to expect. They got my four stars since I did enjoy beef taco a lot before. This satisfied that tastebud.

We both had a bowl. Really tasty! Rice, beans, protein, cheese and sour cream. A generous portion for a reasonable price. Very polite staff and super fast service! We'll definitely be back!!
Only downside: we really couldn't taste any difference between the carnitas (pork) and the chicken, kinda weird, both delicious but indiscernible. Also, kinda skimpy on the sour cream :(

I have tried other Mexican food places on the island, particularly taco trucks in the Honolulu area that get good ratings on Google. (And I've been to many places on the mainland so I have a point of comparison.) Alejandros by far has the best tacos on the island. They have really good flavor but most importantly they aren't greasy
And their portions are generous and beans are fresh. And the staff is friendly in the service is good!
Can't comment on the burritos because I haven't tried them.

Great Mexican carne asada; very flavourful without being overpowering. I had the burritos carne asada and wife had the 3 tacos. She loved the carne asada, chicken and beef. Also stated that meat was well spiced and chicken was nicely flame touched.
We are from Houston, TX and Albuquerque, NM and let me say that the carne asada was better here than in Sadie's ABQ NM (well known touristy/local New Mexican restaurant)
Highly recommend it if you get that Mexico Taco/Burrito itch.

Ordered the Carne Asada burrito and a Horchata. Spent close to $14 but I was NOT disappointed. This is the best horchata I've had on island so far. Everything in the quesadilla was fresh and well seasoned, the salsa verde was also amazing. Definitely recommend!!

From an Arizonan, five stars. The carnitas tacos were perfection! It’s a bit of a drive from where I live, but so worth it. If you want real Mexican flavor, Alejandro’s is it.

Honestly, it is the best mexican food on the island. The price is good for the quantity. The food has flavor, which is so hard to find at mexican restaurants in Oahu. Can not get enough of it. 10/10
