I picked up pizza here a couple weeks ago and I saw the manager first hand genuinely feel horrible about a mistake made by a driver grabbing the wrong pizza. She did everything she could to make it right. They really are genuine here and care about meeting customer expectations. It's not lip service. That's a rare thing. I'll keep coming back here.

I ordered Papa John's through Door Dash. Our expected time of delivery was at 7:30pm. Approximately 40 min after our order went in. At 7:27pm I get a message that our dinner order is cancelled because "we weren't able to make it"!No heads up, no nothing...and my kids were hungry and totally looking forward to it.

They gave us the wrong pizza twice in a row. Second time they gave us very expired pizza sauce to the point that the lid was bulging due to the pressure from being spoiled. It smelled bad and gave my husband a stomachache (he didn’t realize until the first bite that it was rancid). They offered us a refund but today, 9 days later, we still haven’t gotten it. All we’ve received is a call from the district manager saying it’s simply not possible that the sauce is expired because “they make the sauce fresh daily”. I don’t recommend them

This is THE worst pizza I've ever had. It reminds me of the Totino's brand ...the frozen one we ate as kids but at least Totino's has lots more ingredients on top....particularly da CHEESE. We asked for Xtra cheese & it looks like we got MAYBE if we were lucky a half cup on the large size. Plus not sure if it's across the board but this company puts the cheese OVER the ingredients that are underneath. DUH !!! It's so lame cause when a small amount of cheese is placed on top in a hot oven it WILL crust up, burn & turn black. Hard burnt cheese & don't get me started on the crust. Slices can be used as frisbees for da kids foreal & da buggah would last all day. I ended up putting my own cheese & pepperoni I had in the fridge, popped it in the microwave and at least it was edible...melted cheese & a softer crust. It's so SHAME for management of this company to serve this so called food. Now I can see why most people don't mind waiting in line at Pieology.

Papa John's Kaahumanu has redefined the "well done" pizza. To make a really crispy crust, bake it really well until the crust gets black. The person taking it out and cutting it looks at the pizza for quality and says, "Yes! Black crust is so much more appealing than golden brown!This is a pass!" Quality: Then the person at the counter who hands me the pizza looks in the box for a second check and passes this blackened pizza as well. Quality control check #2: pass. Awesome quality control PPJ! So this new blackened crust pizza is opened at home and it's too beautiful to eat. I. Just. Can't. So I call PPJ Kaahumanu to tell them how appetizing it looks, but I press five to get the manager. Cut off. Try again. Cut off. Call store order number. No one answers. It's okay. I already fired off emails to corporate and PPJ Hawaii. See the pic of my beautiful blackened crust pizza in the photos - the last of the pics...

The toppings are getting lesser and lesser! I know prices go up and size gets smaller but it's getting to the point that you can count certain items on various pizza choices and they don't cover every slice and add up to less then ten on the whole pizza! We have options and papa Johns has become the bottom of my choice list unless improvement!

Unfortunately they decided to close early and tried to make me pay a delivery fee for them to delivery it. Thats not what we wanted. Recommend you find somewhere else to get pizza after 9pm.
