Best cut cold coconut and coconut water I’ve ever had on the island and the pineapple with tajin ?

The coconut was not that good.

We stopped here on our way back to Hilo from Akaka Falls. Without overstating any claims, this was an AMAZING experience. I love pineapple in kind of a strange way, but I’ve never had anything more than the Dole junk I can buy from my supermarket in Pittsburgh. This was the opposite! The pineapple was grown on the farm where we were standing. In a word, it was SPECTACULAR. Similar feels for the coconut and sugar cane.

Bonus points for the farm dog hanging out chewing on everybody’s leftover coconut meat!

This IS Hawaii. This is America.

Armando is very friendly and helpful. He found us the young coconut we like. We also met Pico, a gentle and sweet fur baby making sure the farm/store is going smoothly. They have huge grass/front that kids can safely play.

Theo and Enoch are the best and they give you great recos on fruit choices that you can’t go wrong with. After the back and Akaka falls we needed a much refreshing fruit punch and the ice cold coconut pineapple with fresh lime and tahin left us craving for more to say the least. We did pick up a bag of sugarcane ( chopped into bite size chewies) which will remind you of an amazing sour patch when you have those bites/chewies dunked in lime juice.

Absolutely must do on your way back or even upto the falls.

Was pretty disappointed by my stop here. The guy was a bit pushy to buy his pineapple bag when we just wanted a coconut. $10 bucks for the coconut, the juice was good but we asked for a soft one and he gave us a very hard one. I hope I'm wrong but it seemed intentional because we didn't take his up-sale. Could be a good experience for some but missed the mark for me. I really was looking forward to some soft coconut and I got to see lots of people enjoying one but didn't get was dreaming of. Oh well, guess I'll try again elsewhere.

A wonderful family-run fruit stand close to Akaka falls which sells fresh coconut, sugarcane, small bananas and more. The majority of their produce (except coconuts) comes from a 25 acre farm to the back of the fruit stand. Coconut juice was refreshing and delicious. The owner is knowledgeable on his produce and courteous to his customers.

We stopped here after visiting Akaka Falls and bought a coconut each. It was fun to drink the coconut water through a straw, and then to watch while the flesh was scooped out to eat later. As a bonus, there was a puppy :-) In a way this is a silly tourist thing to do, but I had never had a fresh coconut before and it was a fun experience.

The pineapple here was the best in all of Hawaii.Afterwards, I ate pineapple several times in other places, but I couldn't beat the taste here.Pineapple, here, was the best I've ever had.

Love this fruit stand! We stopped here after visiting Akaka Falls, we had the Piñacolada and my husband wanted Pineapples. They cut fresh coconut for you and make you drink the juice which is so refreshing especially walking up and down the akaka Falls. And then he squeezes fresh limes on to your pineapples to give it extra flavor. If you love Tajin, he also has that as well.

Great stop! Delicious coconut and chopped sugar cane for chewing:-) the owner is great person, easy parking, reasonable prices. You can also buy pineapple, but it’s Hawai’i, pineapples are everywhere :-)
