Luckily we stumbled across the Aloha General Store on our way back Akaka Falls. The folks there were super friendly, the coffee was tasty - but the lilikoi shaved ice was out of this world with freshly made syrup. We’ll be making the drive across the island in all our future trips.
Really great shave ice, especially the local flavors. Fresh, tasty, and organic. A great place to stop after visiting the falls. But above all great staff, who helped our family out of a bind & went well above and beyond!

We stopped in after visiting Akaka Falls, and it was the perfect treat after a short hike! It was really nice to meet the owners. They're super friendly. They serve Kula Shave Ice and the açaí bowl was amazing! The granola is so crunchy and delicious and homemade. My son got a mango shave ice and I also grabbed a jar of lehua honey. The shop is small but they have lots of seating outside in a covered area. There is street parking in front of the stores.
