“We stopped in after visiting Akaka Falls, and it was the perfect treat after a short hike! It was really nice to meet the owners. They're super friendly. They serve Kula Shave Ice and the açaí bowl was amazing! The granola is so crunchy and delicious and homemade. My son got a mango shave ice and I also grabbed a jar of lehua honey. The shop is small but they have lots of seating outside in a covered area. There is street parking in front of the stores.“

My 1st experience there since Piilani kitchen opened its doors, was last Saturday, 3/16/!I was bored at home when I spocked a pic of their, panini sandwiches on IG and I walked the 1/2 mile to their quaint kitchen, just inside the doors of the Onomea Country store.Once there I was immediately greeted by a vivacious young lady, Gracie, ready to take my order!I ordered tacos that 1st day and have been back 2x since !Eat there, at the tables outside so you can taste the freshness straight outta the kitchen!Bon apetito!“

“Probably some of the best meals I've had in Hawaii!! Ono wrap is great and the hotdog (topped with sprouts, onion and cucumber) is my absolute fav. Menu options are pretty limited and they do run out, so come early! Everything is super fresh and satisfying, and the entrees come with a selection of fruit which I LOVE. I've also gotten different fruits every time I've visited which is fun and a great way for me to try new ones. You can also get whole coconuts.The shakes and smoothies are to die for. Really really recommend any shake with mac nut ice cream in it, it's so delicious.It's a very small location, but has lots of outdoor seating and is surrounded by nice flat ground if you want to picnic it!Vegetarian options: Hummus and veggie wraps, as well as smoothies and vegan shakes.“
