“A Slice of Paradise and Perfect Coffee at Doutor Kona Coffee Farm
My visits to the Doutor Kona Coffee Farm have consistently been a highlight of my time in Kona, and it's a place I eagerly share with visiting friends and family. From the moment you arrive, you're struck by the immaculate grounds, a testament to the care and dedication put into this farm. Lush greenery abounds, creating a tranquil and beautiful setting for their walking tour.
The tour itself is a delightful experience, a gentle stroll through the coffee plants and other tropical flora. What makes it truly unique is the opportunity to pick and taste whatever fruits are in season along the way – a delightful and sensory connection to the land. The path eventually leads to a breathtaking infinity pool, an oasis where you can relax, soak in the stunning views, and, of course, savor their exceptional Kona coffee.
Beyond the beauty and the delicious coffee, the Japanese hospitality at Doutor is truly remarkable. The staff are attentive, gracious, and make you feel incredibly welcome. Their dedication to providing a memorable experience shines through in every interaction.
Whether you're a coffee aficionado or simply seeking a beautiful and relaxing escape, the Doutor Kona Coffee Farm is an absolute must-visit. It's more than just a coffee farm; it's an experience that engages all your senses and leaves you feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. I wholeheartedly recommend it!“
“Just tried the pineapple rum cake. AMAZING!!! Will definitely be ordering more soon. Better than the rum cakes I had in the Caribbean.“

“This was not only the best latte I had in Kona, but honestly the best latte I’ve ever had.
The details matter and this spot knows it.
From the chocolate covered coffee bean on the top of the cup, to the actual shot of espresso. It was so delicious. Extra points for being a shop that’s open early.
The chocolate macadamia nut cookie was also delicious.
This place packs a punch for being a coffee truck.“

“I ordered an Acai smoothie with almond butter drizzle. And my mom got a mocha frappe. Both were very delicious! This coffee shop has plenty of parking and seating inside is ample. Great place for families, remote workers or a place to chat with a friend. The baristas were super friendly and helpful when deciding what to order. They have vegan options for drinks here and food. And I loved that they also sold locally made sourdough bread and tons of other goodies sold by local artists and bakers! We also got the chia peanut butter bites that were delicious! You gotta try them! I would highly recommend coming here! They have such a diversity of drink and smoothie and Acai bowl options that you won’t have a hard time finding a drink or snack you like!“

“New favorite breakfast / cafe spot in Kona. Everything exceeded our expectations from the food to the service to even the fun table markers they put on the table when you order. Probably one of the best açaí bowls I’ve had in all of Hawaii (don’t forget to add peanut butter) and something about the way they cook their eggs in the jet lag wrap is drool worthy. Have not been able to enjoy their coffees but they have so many fun options. Will definitely be back…. All the time.“

“We stayed at the Marriott and swung in to the coffee shop for breakfast. The drinks were perfect - latte had a nice layer of foam, and a heart to boot. The Ube cold brew was unexpectedly delicious - easy to see why it's a staff pick! We tried two different croffles and honestly I dont know why people make real waffles anymore, when they can have one of these instead. The waffle was PERFECTION, layered and crispy and buttery and chewy in the best ways. I ordered the garlic bread grilled cheese and would eat it every day if I had the chance. The chips were nicely seasoned too! Breakfast sandwich was eaten too fast by my husband to take a picture, but I heard it was good.
2 drinks, 2 croffles, grilled cheese and a breakfast sandwich was $58 before tip. Definitely reasonable considering island pricing (I actually think I pay more for a large latte in Minnesota than we paid here!)
11/10 would recommend - we'll probably go back for breakfast tomorrow!“

“Busy little hometown cafe with delicious food and friendly service. Very popular with locals, but surprisingly we had very little wait time for our food. Great value for the price. Ample parking. I ordered the Singapore fried noodles. I ate till I was full, got a take away container, did some errands, came home and ate some more, then took a picture of what was left. Huge portions!“

“We found this hole in the wall place recommended by Google. Hole in the wall is an understatement, local food, local people, food prices. Still getting used to the Hawaiian seasoning, they like a dash of cinnamon in their meat/pork. The Portuguese sausage is really good. Nice family owned business. 👍 try it, you will not be sorry. Don't let the look discourage u - hospitality, hard working family.“

“we got the drifter large açaí bowl (32oz, $18). it was absolutely delicious with generous quantities. i really enjoyed the nice crunch of the cacao nibs and granola. i do think the açaí base was a tad bit more watery than i prefer, but overall i’m still very very satisfied.“
