“The food was delicious! We've been eating takeout for a while but this food tasted homemade. The seating outside has shade and the service was great. The two men behind the counter were very polite and friendly. Great experience all around! We had 4 omelets and a bagel sandwich“

“Perfectly located next to the ocean with crashing waves, good food and friendly staff! I enjoyed the Poke pie bowl (delicious) and my spouse ordered the trio sliders with spicy fries. The atmosphere alone encourages us to go back (there doesn't seem to be many restaurants ON the water) but we'll definitely be back for more great eats also.“

“Good ambience outdoor seating with a great view. Service is also quick and folks behind the counter are friendly and helpful.Vegetarian options: Able to customize oatmeal by using vegan milk (oat or almond) and add blueberries and strawberries to the hot oatmeal. Same for latte.“

“Presentation is super cute, and flavors are excellent. Great but expensive açaí & pitaya bowls, and fancy coffee options. Service is a bit slow and there’s not a lot of seating outside, but still an easily accessible spot along the main road along Kona coast.“

“Awsome spot. View is amazing on the patio with sea view. There is enough shade to sit (in the morning at least). Coffe is good, barista is very friendly. Food is also great. I've had a egg bacon cheddar croissant and it's lovely. I would recommended going here. Even when it is just you alone.“

“What a gem!! Adorable decor and Delicious coconut chai, with an amazing German breakfast loaded with fresh fruits, cheeses, meats, veggies, breads and a soft boiled egg. I felt like I was in a country cottage writing a novel. This is a must try at least once on Kona.“

“Tried for the first time last night and it did not disappoint! We had their garlic Ahi plate and Garlic Shrimp plate. BOTH were cooked perfectly & delicious! They use large sized shrimps that were well seasoned & so juicy. Super friendly service...we took out but they have a nice and peaceful dine in space too. Local style plate lunches similar to L&L but in my opinion... Much much better!“

“Acai taste really great, and the fruits on top are very fresh and tasty. But be careful with the parking sign of this plaza, even though the sign says that it is OK for customer of the store to park here for free, I still get a 55 dollars ticket for not paying for the parking(I just parked there for at most for 20 minutes), so as many of the cars near by.But you can give the ticket to the employee in the store and they can take care of it.Parking: Parking ticket“

“Excellent coffee and latte, excellent smoothie, excellent paninis. The pickles on the side were delicious. A little expensive, but pretty comparable pricing to everything else in Kona. Other places we ate were just as expensive and a little disappointing, Hungry Honu was not at all disappointing. Among all three sandwich and drink selections in our party, all were excellent.“
“I love this place!!!! Having Waimea coffee at our Hotel entrance is sooo convenient. The young man that runs it I think his name is AJ, he is so sweet. They offer some amazing coffee choices and delicious breakfast or lunch burritos. I had both and liked both. I once decided to cheat and try coffee at another "Corner" place and it was a mistake I would not make again. Here the coffee is the correct strength, flavor and choices are unlimited. They can make anything to your liking. I will miss this coffee.“
“This showed up as the closest marker/coffee place to my hotel. Lala was there bright and early. She was very nice and made sure my coffee had everything to be ready to drink immediately. She went out of her way to provide the best service with plenty of aloha.“

“I rented a car and went as soon as it opened. There were 3 staff members and only one was Japanese, but all of them, including the non-Japanese staff, could speak Japanese, so communication was not a problem.I was able to sample 3 types of coffee and purchase my favorite coffee. The chocolate sample was delicious, so I bought it as well. Be sure to eat ice cream.Although I did not participate in the tour where you can experience roasting, there was an area where you could freely walk around the coffee farm and there were few other tourists, so I was able to enjoy the tour in a relaxed manner. The way to get to this place was like walking down a narrow road for a while and then suddenly coming out, but the parking lot wasn't too narrow, so it was a good thing.January 25, 2024Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp when entering the store“
